$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Oneaboveall', '[')The CEO reaches across and takes 11 cookies, then looks at the teapartier and says 'Watch out for that union guy, he wants a piece of your cookie!'
Oh I love that, so much wisdom packed into one sentence.
It's so true.
Of course, it's also true that too many unions aren't a good thing and it can get too far down the other end of the spectrum into inefficient socialism.
What you need is a balance. We need to stop seeing extremes on everything. We'd all do well to admit we need something in the middle -- moderation -- the rich not having it all, most in the middle having it, and working class making enough to have a bit of a life too.
A nice bell curve. That for a good society and nice towns and cities to sit and look at, and be safe to walk around in.
What the rich elite do, is simply manipulate working and middle class into fighting each other. Their tools are: nationalism, misdirected populism, and hating the "other." Anyone BUT that rich CEO / bankster / hedge funder / oligarch at the table, with his 11 cookies.
(and this is why I try to watch myself now, when I feel like jumping the gun on something like this supposed border problem, *I just really want to know the specifics and the numbers and what's really going on*, and of course I want a secure border and I don't like cartels and too much immigration, but neither will I fall for FALSE populism with banksters pulling the strings)
