Its pretty clear that there is a physical difference between typically male and typically female brains, so it is not unreasonable to extend that to other personality traits. There is a physical predisposition to risk taking, for example.
I absolutely agree with you on this, bobcousins.
My dad and I share large parts of our personality -- we have a very particular, easily-identified cluster of personality traits that run back four consecutive generations (on his side of the family only). However, I think on testing he'd come out as an INTJ. It may be that we share the same underlying personality-influencing genes, but that the feminization of my brain (in utero estrogen/testosterone balance, etc.) tilts it toward INFJ.
I can't believe only 1% of the population is INFJ! That explains a lot about my life, if true...
