(I see my original post got jettisoned, maybe it wasn't colorful enough to fit right in

)
Having four (old-fashion) T.V.s, we have T.V., but we don't really watch it. We cut our subscription to lifeline basic to save money. It was the best thing we ever did for the family. I cannot imagine how destructive it must be to raise a kid with the parents checked-out watching the damn thing. Even worst, having the kid be a zombie! O.K. so we just transferred our zombie skills to the internet, very true! We added a room in our remodel to make a 'family' room. It HAS NO T.V.! I didn't want it to become the ZOMBIE room. It is now a conversation/reading room and/or music room. I could not have been happier the day we disconnected extended basic, digital zombieland channels, need for five-speaker surrounded sound and all that. Days of wasting half-hour each evening determining all-over-again that there is nothing worth watching is gone. That adds up to a lot of time over a year.
I am thinking of doing a hazardous materials dump somewhere to get rid of all these tube sets, but they're still used occasionally. Sometimes, you just get lonely I guess
