$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('accept_death', ' ')I really don't think I will have an easy time living a localized life knowing what is out there that I can't access, but almost had the chance to.
I will feel cheated, big time. I will be pissed. Will I act rationally? Who knows.
The 'localized' life, if it is possible (which I doubt very much) will completely take care of the natural yearning for novelty. After a while the novelty will become a bit much to handle, but that wont matter because the goddamn novelty will just keep coming until everyone will be sick to death of novelty. And then guess what - MORE NOVELTY. The last thing anyone will care about is: 'gee, I wish I'd seen the painted desert of Arizona!'
Now as for feeling cheated, I suppose that young people in general are going to cut their ties to the older generations. Peer solidarity will become the most important thing to a generation that knows they are the first to come after the party. Brutality will be in fashion. Killers will be the leaders and honored ones.
