$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Pops', 'Y')ou act like I invented Netflix just so I could personally can all those clerks at Blockbuster.
Should I just pull up the covers and whine about the end of the middle class and the unfairness of it all?
Sorry, was just making a general point bouncing off the Netflix type automation point you raised, didn't mean it to be personal to you Pops. Heck, I've been a Netflix member since just about day one -- no late fees, no lines, no schlepping to Blockbuster, massive selection, sign me up!
But again, as a general point, that's where things are headed -- now cut down to minimum wage, losing their jobs altogether to automation that works for free is the next step. I know we can't be luddites, but it's just a problem that will get worse as tech increases and society will have to address it at some point.
People need jobs to be able to afford the product of automated tech.
