$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('deMolay', 'L')udi, a question for you. Let's say that the Repubs etc. don't shut off the tap. Just for the sake of argument. At what point would the system shut down on its own anyway. When 100M are on welfare, 200M, 300M.
DeMolay, if it gets that bad then we're going to need some major wealth redistribution in this country. Or would you think a nation of 40 million elites and 300 million starving serfs would be just fine by you?
Back to reality.. food stamps cost about $56 billion per year. So since 2001, let's say that's $560 odd billion. By contrast, we've spent about twice that -- $1,111,739,700,767, that's 1.1 trillion -- on just the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. That's not even the rest of the defense budget, just the added cost of those wars. So that's what, twice as many bombs on brown people as food for hungry American kids. And you still want to take their food away?
What do you tea partiers think, food costs money but all these stealth bombers and drones just grow on trees?
