Have been researching this a fair bit lately, just wondering if there are many Masons active on this board? Don't be shy, speak up and have your say on it!
I neither loathe or support Freemasonry but to deny the largest secret society in the world, combined with their female counterparts - the Eastern Stars - do not wield much influence in politics, religion and finance would be ignorant. In fact, it can be argued that the "Illuminati" are nothing more than a faction of Freemasonry! Adam Weishaupt who allegedly launched the Illuminati on May 1st (May Day) 1776 was a Mason. When you dig into this a bit more you really have to question the motives behind the founding fathers of the United States. Non Masons like myself, feel free to chime in with anything you might want to add! I'll be watching this post. So will they! Boo!

We are so busy looking for Reptiles, Jews, Pharonic Royalty and other nonsensical conspiracies that we fail to see our own complicity in a way of life that is essentially untenable in the long run. The rich merely exemplify our own lives of wastefulness and utter worthlessness,premised as that is on endlessly consuming, which after all what being money rich is all about, whether you happen to be middle class or one of the elite.

The Masons is nothing more than networking, albeit of an earlier vintage. That they have access to the levers of power is hardly surprising. This is what clubs of the well off and powerful tend to do. What else would you expect of them?

That's if you believe a Bronze Age fable. I don't. What I do know however is that those who prosper, by fair or foul means, wield a certain standing in capitalist society. Greed is rewarded, whether played by the rules or with further increments of that greed.

Found an interesting read here, most of it checks out from other sources. 9/11 was an important date 175 years ago but I would guess %99 of Americans would not have a clue about what transpired from that day forward for a short period, only to be quashed and more or less removed from the "official" history of the United States for lack of a better word. The anti-Masonic movement. It even had its own political party!

Saw an interesting doc the other night, downloaded from somewhere on the internets. Secret Societies (2009).
It is a 4 part series examining secret societies obviously but part 3 is most interesting and makes a good argument that the United States is the first Masonic Nation of the world. Highly recommend the video to anyone interested in what the hell is going on . Far too much information to start regurgitating here. And what is wrong with this site and the ongoing technical problems? I'm outta here...
