$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('vetusfirma', 'T')he lost tribe they just found in the Amazon is the prefect example of the worst case. Totally savage, at substance levels, shooting arrows at the helicopter. Yes they survived, yes the ones still alive were healthy, but they are like dogs. They cannot conceive of anything out side of their own reality. And what they do see, they try and kill. That is humans without oil. We can do better in the decline, maybe.
savages? dogs? please. they have a culture, and a society--it may be different, but it's there. and it's more sustainable than yours.
the case can be made that they're better off than you and i are
right now.
can't conceive of anything outside their reality? react violently and w/fear to the unknown? how is that any different from humanity in general, especially the so-called civilized ones?
we can do better in the decline? we can do a lot worse! it's my tentative opinion that civilized men tend to follow the hobbesian arc under stress much more readily than the so-called savages.
