Good point Leaf, I forgot it was on.

That series – in-town living, western US, Canadian prairie – are great sources. I don’t think I’ll see that lifestyle but my grandkids might.

Another comment, I read lots of old “how to” books. Currently “Shop Work On The Farm” from the forties. Recently, “Small Scale Grain Raising” from the 1970’s “back to the land” movement.

I’ve said before that the “Little House” books are great if you read with an eye to practical matters. I read those to my grandkids and we all learned something.
