The flips are independent so the distribution of a thousand flips if has 2^1000 possible outcomes (much larger than then number of particle in the known universe estimated at <2^32)

Let it be known.. we have 4 billion particles in the universe.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Lighthouse', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('threadbear', 'P')oor Lighthouse, doomed to take the red pill at some later date, suppository style.

But at least my steak is still juicy and tastes just wonderful ...

threadbear, look at the video. Most of the so called witnesses have testified what they experienced, and their interpretation of their experiences. That does not mean that this is the truth.

Most of them did not even experience all of that themselves (like the guy down at the missile silo, or the lawyer who was shown photographs, or the lady who spoke to von Braun).

They did not even try to find explanations other than UFO and aliens. I'm sure most of the phenomena can be explained naturally. (I said most, not all!)

I think you are taking the blue pill if you accept this shit without questioning.

Accept this "shit" without questioning? You have no idea who I am, do you? I have no vested interest in "aliens". As a matter of fact, I find the whole topic mildly disturbing. I simply extrapolate my own unsettled feelings about the topic to others and gain insight into the human mind, culture, govt.

I am predominantly interested in the use of ridicule in propaganda and social engineering projects. Propagandists work with emotional matrices that have already been laid down, or are in the process of forming.

For example: Aliens were featured in so many gag cartoons, comic books, etc... that the mind placed them clearly in the entertainment column, and further to that, not just any entertainment column, but under the sub-heading--cartoons and animation. When somebody claims to have witnessed a ufo or occupant it carries with it the same sense and flavour, as if they'd said. "I saw the real Mickey and Minnie Mouse".

This is just one of the tricks the mass mind plays on itself to reduce the scary and unknown and bring it clearly within the sphere of the controllable. It's also a phenomenon that is well known within intelligence circles, so it is, as I say, buttressed and encouraged.

I could go much much further, but won't risk boring you.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('threadbear', 'A')ccept this "shit" without questioning?

I did not mean you personally. But usually the dog who was hit barks first?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('threadbear', 'Y')ou have no idea who I am, do you?

Ye I do. I even have a photo of you and your dog:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('threadbear', ' ')I have no vested interest in "aliens". As a matter of fact, I find the whole topic mildly disturbing.

Why? Its quite simple. The probability life exist somewhere else is

N = R* fp ne fl fi fc L

According to this equation, there could be a million intelligent civilizations in the Milky Way galaxy, and probably billions of such civilizations throughout the universe.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('threadbear', 'I') simply extrapolate my own unsettled feelings about the topic to others and gain insight into the human mind, culture, govt.

I rather stay with the facts and ask questions.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('threadbear', 'I') am predominantly interested in the use of ridicule in propaganda and social engineering projects. Propagandists work with emotional matrices that have already been laid down, or are in the process of forming.

Yes, and I'm good in that. (see above photo) ;)

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('threadbear', 'F')or example: Aliens were featured in so many gag cartoons, comic books, etc... that the mind placed them clearly in the entertainment column,

...

This is just one of the tricks the mass mind plays on itself to reduce the scary and unknown and bring it clearly within the sphere of the controllable. It's also a phenomenon that is well known within intelligence circles, so it is, as I say, buttressed and encouraged.

Yes but it just works for minds trained to combine the unknown with being scared. Some people are excited to go to the unknown. The latter are questioning everything the first group is easier to manipulate. (101 social engineering, you know ...)

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('threadbear', 'I') could go much much further, but won't risk boring you.

You are not boring, that's for sure ...

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('threadbear', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('dissimulo', 'T')he video is about "exposing the existence of extraterrestrials".

Are you issuing a warning to others so they won't taint themselves by watching it. Who appointed you gatekeeper of what you deem to be the unvarnished truth?

I wasn't sure, based on the first post, what the video was about. So, I took a look and provided the info. No agenda. I didn't watch much of the video, so I'm not going to comment on it.

Lighthouse, I think most older people feel uneasy about the unknown and would prefer to accept comforting cartoons rather than confronting the mysterious head on. place. I'm astnonished at how the emotions restrict otherwise highly intelligent people.

I don't think I inferred that the elderly person who resists his/her universe being expanded, is panicked, just uneasy.

If you were born post 1970, and particularly post 1980, the ufo enigma, like sex, ironically, is not portrayed in as cartoonish a manner.

The X-files, though entertainment, portrayed the subject in a much different way, not laughable as much as creepy. And yes, I consider myself older, but have never been susceptible to the same type of propaganda aimed at the average status conscious individual. Not that I'm not sensitive to ridicule, I am...very. So I've picked one hell of a subject to be interested in, haven't I? :)

communication is 80% non verbal and in between the lines (you call it noise) and just 20% signal...

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Falconoffury', 'A')n interesting trend I've noticed is that the people who have done little to no research on the subject of UFOs and aliens have a strong tendency to think that they don't exist.

You will note that MY dismissal has nothing to do with whether aliens exist. I wouldn't be at all surprised if there weren't numerous tool using species out there in the universe.

My point is that just as we can't even fathom getting to Mars; they're in exactly the same boat, and they certainly aren't going to be crossing the galaxy to colonize Earth.

The universe... all watchy. no touchy.
Yes, we are. As we are.
And so shall we remain; Until the end.

proof that aliens exist - amazing, a must watch! <--i didnt say that ;-)

glad they got cooper before he completely lost his voice ;-)

No martian face you say?

someone else looking at it a different way:
face on mars take another look
I agree that the most recent official images seem way too fuzzy.

Its a read between the lines kinda thing.....
Here we are Peakers and all and we are very very acutely aware of the media and official silence or distortion of Peak Oil truth.

We know we are addicted to oil officially yet none of these "power" people are saying Peak Oil.
I think Rummy was dying to say it but he knows the rules 8)

Some suggest it might be because we cannot collectively handle the truth.
I am starting to think that they may be right.....

I look at all this stuff with an open mind with no boundaries or preconceived notions.
No fear or hope for any reason really.
Just a mental exercise that may end up anywhere or nowhere.
If I didnt care I probably wouldnt post....ok maybe a chuckle or to but no real determination to DEBUNK alien ufo theories.......

Sad that some people cannot disconnect if only just for a short while from the construct of their own reality.

Science - I call science out!!!
Psychology as well!!! ya buncha freaks!!!
and wheres matt gibbons!!! ;-)

"the halls of science and all of the lunatics committed there"

All you freaks with your theoretical lawfulness ;-)
Modern Science is an infant.......

Imagine if the genius minds that took us leaps and bounds chose to believe their predecessors and peers instead of their own intuition.........no wait ....thats a good thought ahahahh
The world would be a better place because we would not have invented everything that seems to be biting us in the ass currently ;-)

So smart they are stupid ...really....

Lastly how many people disbelieve all alien ufo/ (edit)earth visitations (unedit) stuff yet retain the belief in diety/god/goddess whatever?
It is easier to enslave a people that wish to remain free then it is to free a people who wish to remain enslaved.

Re: More Crazy Stuff You Wont Believe

I've seen at least part of this video before. It's years old and nothing has come of it.

I would certainly like to believe there are other forms of 'intelligent life'
out there.. I don't think any are currently visiting this rock, and if they were able to get here they would likely be so advanced we'd never even know it.

No, my entire tinfoil-hat-hangup comes in cuz I think there is something to some of these UFO "things", but that I think they are a product of life here on earth. I do believe there are currently secret technologies out there, beyond what your average college physics professor might consider possible. Of course I can't prove this, but it's my opinion.

The UFO abduction/implantation stories (and they are legion) are more likely some form of illegal government experimentation with implants, behaviour and "mind control" technologies. The UFO stuff is at best a cover to dupe the masses. There are already drugs and certain EM weapons that can supress and block the formation of memory which may account for the 'missing time' these people often experience. If you look at the history of this, even what's openly admitted to (MKUTRLA, etc.), you'll see this stuff goes on for decades. I just can't understand why after journeying halfway across the galaxy ET's would be interesing in shoving probes up peeps hinders and nostrils.

Above video is probably earnest, though there was little 'hard' evidence in it. However, at worse, it may be purposeful misdirection.

Adjust your foil accordingly.
