Now you know what the paranoid society you live in REALLY thinks about you. Seahorse, if you are on the "the list" should we even be talking to you? However, for all I know I am on the list too. I do know that I have an FBI file of some weight. Hell, we may all be on the list.

I have figured that we are all prisoners here and the only time we find out is if we somehow test our freedom by doing something which allows us to see the bars. Many never know because they don't test their freedoms.

The Constitution assures us that we can travel from one place to another without being impeded in our journey. We can use the transport of the day without asking for permission or license. Test it.

Okay, update. Yesterday, I personally spoke with the ATF agent who, I've been told, is responsible for getting my name off the most armed and dangerous. I first left a message for him, telling him why I was calling and saying I wanted to do whatever necessary to get the information changed. When he called back, he left me his cell phone.

I later reached him by phone, and he assured me it was a mistake, coded wrong, and that it had already been taken care of. Even though he never returned calls to my local contact, I presume he acted on the messages left by my local contact. I didn't get to finish my conversation with the ATF guy, bc he was on the road and we lost cell phone contact.

I called my local guy today to see if in fact the info was changed. It has not been changed. So, I call ATF guy back and say it hasn't been changed. He assures me he will personally see to it it gets changed before he leaves on vacation in a few days. I ask him what gun showed up registered to me. He didn't know. He also said he didn't know what the crime was. He also said I wasn't a suspect (even though I know the data says I am "suspected").

I couldn't tell if he didn't ever know this information or didn't remember, bc he's working in a different department now.

I will check my local contact in a week to see if things have been changed. If not, I will contact this guy's supervisor. If that doesn't work, I will make a request to my local congressman. I will update as more info becomes available.

I'm sure I'm on the "list" now. Yesterday I e-mailed my reps and said I thought the bailout was un-American, criminal, communistic etc. and that they were treating us like serfs.

Ah well. Thought crimes. Guilty as charged. Someone has to have the balls to put their foot down and call bullsh*t. Might as well be me.
