For all of you Nitpicking the reality of the premise, let me remind you it is FICTION. That is what FICTION does, suspends reality, to tell a good story. It is a good story.

For those of you who don't like fiction as a genre, you can always go back to watching the Bachelor, or Biggest Loser, or even Dancing with the Stars. Who am I to judge what you believe is entertainment.

I think that Catching Fire was better than the book in a lot of ways. The movie skipped over the endless time they spent in the training camp for example. The movie was a little too close to reality in some ways. The people of the capitol live a frivolous life while the people in the provinces struggle to eat and work in industries that feed the lavish lifestyle of the rich. How is that so different from what's going on now?

I guess I didn't remember that the three finger salute was because Catniss kissed her hand and held her hand out like that after Rue's death. Now I see why it became a rallying cry for the masses.
