Hope all is going well for you up in MI, Lore. I think you made a very smart move.

Needless to say, I agree with you. I don't think it makes any difference who's president anymore. Our problems are now too big and grievous to be solved by anyone or any group of anyones.

As things are now, a president is probably impotent to do anything except make things worse, as has certainly been the record of the current occupant.

Even as we squirm around just trying to frame our problems, they get bigger before our eyes, and the frame is already too small to contain them.

Given that reality, it becomes reasonable to entertain formerly silly questions, such as, "How long do we have?" Since it's just a question of time, now.
