The tower in the back is in former East Berlin and was build during the days of the Cold War. Beer is the national drink from North to South in Germany. It does not hit you over the head like wine or spirits do and it cleanses your kidneys which is probably the main purpose of Octoberfest (which is going on right now): Development and support good mental and intestinal health, how would we deal with reality otherwise?! Haven't seen you posting for quite a spell. How's things at the new homestead? Did you escape the big wildfires this past summer? I think they were a bit S and W of your local, but there were quite a few smaller fires that escaped local news.
