Good day from Pheba, from the farm:
Taking a breather from baling hay.
I don't know what constitutes a "cult" following.
I do know there are several fanatic web-sites devoted to my favorite
show, ever...
Farscape.
The show
Got in my head, and I find myself falling asleep wishing I was
aboard a living ship, a Leviathin. Coping with hard times.
I never thought I could fall in love with a bunch of killer muppets., but I did.
The series starts slow, but if you stick with you, you get major payback.
Great writing, great actors.
Resurrection with Ellen burstyn is a little known film about a woman who survives a near death experience.
She develops the ability to heal with touch.
Her superstitious friends and family freak out when she refuses to
acknowledge her ability as a gift from God.
Awesome ending.
Tunes of Glory, a little known film starring Alec guinness. My hubby is Scottish, and loves wearing his kilt. Film is about a Scottish, kilt wearing military unit shortly after wwII. The ultimate kilt movie.
Deadly Harvest with Clint Walker. Okay, acting is not so good, but the scene where the hungry hordes kidnap and kill Walker's daughter's calf sends chills down my spine.
This hokey film fed my Peak Oil fears to the point where I can not view the film a second time.
Best kept secret concerning a cartoon, and a minor cult film.
How I spent my Vacation, Tiny Toons.
My 30 year old daughter grew up watching it. Now my 3 grandsons
adore it. Not available on DVD, only VHS.
Worth owning if you have kids, or you are a kid yourself.
Plucky Duck: "No Happy-Go-Pukey?"
Farscape, Farscape, Farscape.
Pheba.
