Anyone else here heard the symphonic renditions of Zeppelin by the London Symphony Orchestra? I just stumbled upon it and I'm definetely liking it, it's quite unique.....especially Kashmir....which was just made for this type of thing...

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('PenultimateManStanding', 'A')nybody ever heard of Dr. John The Night Tripper? Bayou voodoo psychedelia.

Ordered it and received it today. Excellent recording, very unusual, Louisiana Woodoo, very civilized though not to give a wrong impression. Never heard anything similar. The WAR CD that I picture posted "Deliver the World" I received as well but it was somewhat dissapointing. I know that Eric Burdon though did some excellent sessions with WAR.

For the time being I recommend www.shoutcast.com and to do a search on GrooveSalad. It usually ranks even among the top ten. Just downright healthy music!

As far as Dr. John goes, check out just about anything he's done since (often as a sideman using his real name Mac Rebennac). The man is a consummate musician with heart.

Alot of this new music touches on issues such as overpopulation and PO.

Dylan is still excellent and has shown it with a come back, a couple of late career statements, both of which were very good, plus an 'enigmatic' movie role: Masked and Anonymous.
