This speaks volumes. One of my minor hopes for the US is that some stimulus will find its way into vocational colleges, etc.; dunno if that's part of the recipe. If I were 15 right now and following the news - i.e., here, TOD, TAE, LATOC - I'd immediately drop out and head for a community college or vo-tech that'd have me, learn something of use. Or direct the bare minimum towards passing and load up on shop classes and the like.
Here's hoping the current generation of teens directs their energy in useful directions, seeing how we graying slackers have really led things off course. And, this whole touchy-feely BS has just got to
stop.
