$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Ludi', 'T')he longer I'm here, the less convinced I am that anyone pays the slightest attention to what I've posted.

Maybe you should ask yourself why you're here at all. I've admitted on multiple occasions that I'm here out of a psychological crutch. I stopped actively learning things on the forums a long time ago. Switching sites doesn't change matters the way I thought it would.
To me, the hardest aspect of being a doomer is the social isolation. But reaching out to people on forums like this is a poor substitute for developing local allies. The poor results I've been able to achieve by coming out to my own family or getting a transition initiative going in my town is a big reason why I made a big U-turn back to this place. But it hasn't really made me feel any better. So many of us, as red-pillers, are in social prisons.
I find this isolation to be
worse than collapse itself because it's something we have to endure right now, day in and day out.
So if there is any advice I would give to those who are new to doom, is to move heaven and earth to find others like you in your area, and if you can't, MOVE to where they are. But don't get hooked on a worldsend.
