The United States military has deployed several F-22 fighter jets to an allied base less than 200 miles (320 km) from Iran, Fox News reported Friday.
According to the report, the US Air Force strongly denied ordering the deployment in a show of force against Iran, or that it is in some way related to a potential strike on the Islamic Republic’s nuclear facilities. It claimed the measure is part of routine activity and “security cooperation with regional partners.”
“The United States Air Force has deployed F-22s to Southwest Asia,” Lt.Col. John Dorrian, Air Force public affairs, said in a written statement. “Such deployments strengthen military-to-military relationships, promote sovereign and regional security, improve combined tactical air operations, and enhance interoperability of forces, equipment and procedures.”
The Air Force refused to disclose how many jets were sent or exactly where they are stationed, but US officials have told Fox News the jets are in hangars at the United Arab Emirates’ Al Dafra Air Base.
The F-22 – the US’ most advanced fighter jet – has yet to see combat. They are stealth, and they specialize in air-to-air combat, but can also strike air-to-ground if needed.
“This is America’s premier fighter jet. It has no rival,” Fox News quoted one Air Force official as saying.
The next round for nuclear talks between the world powers and Iran are set to take place on May 23 in Baghdad.
Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi expressed hope on Tuesday that the upcoming negotiations with the United States, France, Russia, China, Germany and Britain will mark “the beginning of the end of the nuclear issue.”

It has nothing to do with nuclear. It has to do with selling oil for anything but dollars. I’m curious to see if there is any ‘progress’ from the meeting…but I doubt it.

Pakistan and India recently launched long-range missiles and are nuclear armed. No problem, because they do not have oil. Iran has no nuclear arms and even high-ranking Israeli military men admit that Iran is not working on a nuke.
But Iran has oil and a regime that escaped from the American orbit in 1980 and thus is not a US client state as it was under the Shah. So now Iran has a problem, just like Libya and Syria had/has. Libya because of the oil and Syria because it is a friend of Iran and opponent to Israel. The US are merely waiting for an excuse to destroy Iran. If necessary a lie or false flag attack will do. But ten years of huge military and financial effort could not prevent Iraq from de facto moving into the Iranian sphere of influence and with every bomb that will fall onto Iran, the goal of turning Iran into a US client state will get further away. The US no doubt will succeed in destroying masses of Iranian infrastructure from above but this time not regime change in this mountainous terrain. If the US will dare to put these famous ‘boots on the ground’, China will react and ditch the dollar and stop funding the US without something in return.

You are correct, Arthur. But, I think that any bombing of Iran will be matched with some Us military assets being destroyed with missiles. Iran is NOT North Korea, Their missiles work and are possible carrier killers.

Q/It claimed the measure is part of routine activity and “security cooperation with regional partners.”
Routine activey = Encircleing Iran, bombing civilians, violating countries airspace, shooting down airliners etc.
security co-operation = Ordering ME vassal-states to accept more Us forces to help wage its never-ending global war-OF-terror.

This info is coming from FOX.
Anyway, get ready for $10 gas, and oil over $200 a barrel. Then get ready for the shit to break the fan, since it’s already hitting it.
