China doesn’t need anything from the USA; they may want a couple of things, like 7nm semiconductor manufacturing equipment, but that is not a need, it is a want. I estimate the Chinese will be building their own high tech domestic chips and manufacturing equipment in less than four years. By then they will neither need nor want ANYTHING from the USA. The USA is running out of time to bargain with China. In a couple of years the USA will have no bargaining chips left. China is also upgrading and tripling its nuclear deterrent, which is already big enough to completely destroy the USA. I can’t imagine any way that the USA can win this war. Trump 2020!
