If political stability were going to happen, we would have received a deluge of positive articles Friday talking about much progress Joe Biden made during his trip to Baghdad last week…
Shit is being blown up on a daily basis in not only Northern Iraq, but now Southern Iraq…
People are Rioting in Baghdad…
Iraq is lost… It’s prospects for stability have rapidly diminished in the last week or so…

Iraq was quite stable, until the amero-zionists showed up to ‘liberate’ them from their state-oil oil, their Euro-denominated oil sales, their educated and cultured workforce and society etc. Now, Iraq is well on its way to becoming,
the united snakes of americant. Violent, barely governable, barely stable politically, corrupt, decaying or non-existent public services, a basket case for an economy, and its valuable natural resources controlled by a tiny group of uS extractive corporations. Mission accomplished after all?

Bush foolishly tried to create a democracy in Iraq. It didn’t work. Now obama is fighting a war on the side of extremist Shia Militias who are ethnically cleansing Sunni from various parts of Iraq. I don’t think that will work either.
Cheers!

Only a complete moron, would think that the bush regime tried to create ‘democracy’ in Iraq. Or that someone called ‘obama’ is fighting a war there for that matter.
I don’t think your fake narrative works either.

They took this notion of a PROJECT FOR THE NEW AMERICAN CENTURY. They tried to impliment it, and the result was half-assed, ultra – violent and poorly executed, to the point where Israel clearly has no future in the middle east, except as the eternal foe of the Arabs. When they get done with Isis, who will the Arabs look to blame? Themselves? Ha! Billions will be handed to anyone who will fight Israel, because as oil runs down, they know the chance wont come again.
Taking out Iraq was in the plan. They thought the king of Jordan would rule!

The temple on the mount must be destroyed before the new temple can be built, ushering in God’s kingdom on Earth, in which God’s chosen people will rule over the goyim. (the rest of us)
Iraq was the sword the neocons gave for the US to fall on. The day the US crossed from Kuwait to Iraq was the day the empire was over. Of course this is a process but that was the end game event.
GregT on Mon, 2nd May 2016 4:14 pm
The Empire is alive and well Davy. When they are done with the US, they will move somewhere else. The same as it ever was, except that this time they believe that they will rule the entire Earth. China and Russia still stand in their way, however. Expect War.
Davy on Mon, 2nd May 2016 4:21 pm
Greg, it is alive but not well and nothing like it was 2003 time frame. It is usually near empires death rattle end they behave like we are seeing currently with the US political, industrial, and military complex. IMA China especially is coming apart in a similar fashion for different reasons. It is Russia that is the best placed but still vulnerable to a global collapse.

What do you mean “someone called Obama”?
Are you so out of touch with reality that you don’t even know who President Obama is?
Cheers!

USA went all-in in Iraq, a limited scope of ops in Libya and initially was not in Syria at all but only supported proxies. now USA is limited ops in Syria. All-in, a little in and not in at all. Those are your 3 choices. None seem to work any better than the other for USA in MENA. Perhaps Plant has a better idea of what needs to be done. I say pack up and go home. Leave it to the locals. But, USA has to sell weapons so they play around in the area to promote sales.
When I was a kid there was one failed state; Afghanistan. Then Somalia joined the list. Now we got Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Ukraine, Venezuela, Sudan and South Sudan, CAR, DRC, Chad, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Haiti and more to come. UK will soon join the list as will Mexico. Collapse is not an all or nothing thing. It takes out states one at a time from least resilient to most resilient. It doesn’t help if you’re walking distance from a newly failed state. Many states have colapsed. Many more will. eventually they all collapse.

Lee, give it up these poster have no interest in civility. We have the member’s forum here that is civilized. Try going there or just tune out the idiots. I have preached peace and got kicked in the teeth so my feeling is war is better than a bad peace. I give back what is given and if possible I add to it.
We have people here with venom in their hearts who think the ends justify the means. They are like deluded Christians who think they are doing God’s work. What they are doing is being mean and abusive. They play the blame and complain game pointing fingers and acting as if they have clean hands. They form a gang and pat each other on the back for how well they spank those they hate. They are truly grotesque people with foul mouths and evil hearts that think they are wonderful.
