Revolution, War, Taxes

Paul Tudor Jones ruffled more than a few feathers last week when he warned first that “we’re in the middle of a disastrous market mania,” and second he explained that “this gap between the 1 percent and the rest of America, and between the US and the rest of the world, cannot and will not persist,” concluding that “historically, these kinds of gaps get closed in one of three ways: by revolution, higher taxes or wars. None are on my bucket list.” His thesis is simple and profound as the following full speech shows…

If I had to choose between war, revolution and higher taxes on the rich, I’d choose higher taxes on the rich. Unfortunately Obama and our leaders in DC have chosen to increase taxes on working people rather than on the rich. And the prospects in 2016 aren’t much better—Hillary has spent her whole life striving to be rich, and one way or another she’s parlayed her political career into great wealth.

Maybe Hillary could give us all hints on how to invest in cattle futures so everybody else can become rich too?

345th richest person on the globe lectures about income inequality. At the end they gave him a standing ovation. I’d have pelted him with rotten fruit.

THY, AMEN, I can’t stand hypocrisy of the 1%ers. Just like I can’t stand the US flag waivers who preach US moral and economic exceptionalism. It is agenda and propaganda that is false and dangerous.

The only thing that picks my ass more, is someone like Bill Gates talking about education and how children should be taught; all from a Mercer Island silver spoon hypocrite who reaps more tax relief benefits from his ‘gifts’ than he gives away.

Pichforks coming on sale at a going out of business hardware store near you!!

I remember years ago seeing one of Bill Gates vacation houses it is up in the rocky mountains…any way it has about 50 yards or more of heated driveway…yes raising the temp of the drive way to 38 degrees when it is -10 outside so he does not have to get his loafers wet when he steps out of his car…!!! I still think the U.S could cut 30 percent of energy use waste without losing jobs etc…hell look at all the trash that gets thrown away….
