Our economic freedom is the foundation of all freedoms and there are forces in this country yet today who would deny it and enslave all of us if they could.
Let’s celebrate our independence by thanking those who have sacrificed life, limb and the pursuit of happiness for it. Let’s thank our veterans who answered the call to freedom no matter the popularity of the conflicts. They fought enemies, both domestic and foreign, who would have enslaved some of us to put our labor to work for others. Those enemies are ever with us. King George wanted to tax us without representation. Stephen Douglas and the land barons he represented wanted to preserve bondage. Andrew Cuomo wants us all to work for the government and a new set of land barons.
This presidential election year and this Independence Day are a good time to reflect on economic freedom. It’s disappearing every day. This is because some would always like to enslave others. The Democrat party platform of the 1860’s was pro-slavery. They fought to maintain the practice and force its spread to other states. Today, eight generations down the road, some politicians are just as adamant to enslave Americans through government.
Yet, if you thought bonding one man into laboring for others was somehow moral you were, in a sense, more honest than politicians today. Now, they seek to do the same thing by passing out our taxpayer money as entitlements to maintain a strong voter base while engaging in the worst sort of cronyism. They have regulated our rights to use our property to the nth degree, effectively depriving us of it. They have made us propertyless slaves. They’ve stolen our economic freedom from us. I say this is nowhere more clear than here in New York. The Cuomo administration has stolen our rights to our natural resources at the behest of land barons who want the state for themselves.
We, in fact, seem to be experiencing a meltdown of economic freedom in New York and many other states today. Bernie Sanders, a self-labeled socialist, ran for president by promising millennials and those at a similar stage of mind development lots of free stuff. Look how far he got – almost to the end. His attacks on corporations were very popular. Ironically, old corporate money, especially oil money, handed down to later generations in trust funds has supported Bernie. It has kept America in conflict with itself and is destroying our economic freedom here in New York.
What do I mean by keeping America in conflict with Itself?
Over 300 million Americans live within the borders of the USA. Most are happy to have a home, a backyard in which to BBQ, a car in the driveway and food on the table. We Americans are far too apathetic to what is happening in this country today. We don’t see what’s happening as our rights are gradually infringed. We don’t notice until they have been taken from us. This apathy is how fractivists and other radicals are empowered. Their knowledge that apathy is more powerful then any other weapon is the secret of their power.
Here is an example. The hydraulic fracturing issue has been exploited by fear-mongering radicals with much bigger agendas for almost a decade now. They have enlisted academics and politicians through cash rewards and political pressure to voice false fears of water, air, and health concerns. Their goal is to restrict economic freedom and put more things under their own thumbs.
They’ve even gone so far as to hide studies they paid when the results showed natural gas has cleaned our air and not poisoned our water. They rely on science from disgraced Cornell professors like Anthony (give me the grant) Ingraffea. He gives flamboyant speeches. He suggests water tables are being polluted and methane was leaking so bad that we were at a tipping point to self destruction.
Read up on the Dimock trial and you’ll see the professor is more political advocate than scientist. His sellout to the Park Foundation enabled Andrew Cuomo to kowtow to the Parks and Rockefellers. He helped them destroy the economic opportunities of struggling farmers and landowners all across Upstate New York.
The goal of these high-brow trust-fund radicals is to socialize America to the point only a few are allowed to be rich and govern. It’s “economic freedom for me and none for thee” in their world. This is no more apparent than in the history of the New York fracking decision.
Dr. Nirvah A. Shah in happier days before he left the Cuomo administration under apparent pressure to be more political
Many will recall New York State Health Commissioner Dr. Nirvah Shah was, at Cuomo’s request, studying the health impacts of fracking. He suddenly disappeared under the silence of the non-disclosure agreement. He moved to California, where fracking is permitted, with his wife and two children. This was just before the state was set to allow gas drilling in Upstate New York. Was he bucking Cuomo and the NRDC by not killing gas drilling under the false pretense of a health issue?
We’ll probably never know exactly what happened but perhaps Preet Bharara should subpoena Shah to find out. We do know the NRDC cabal rewarded Joe Martens with a return job at the Open Space Institute. This was after he resigned the job as DEC commissioner having completing his assignment to ban gas drilling. This was a payoff in any other world. Did Dr. Shah foresee, in his act of resigning, a travesty of justice so bad he fled to California?
Howard Zucker, the new Health Commissioner and his fictional wife and two fictional children, did the dirty work. Shaw apparently wouldn’t. Zucker did so right after Cuomo was re-elected. He helped announce a ban on fracking. He held up a never-funded, never-started Geisinger study. He talked of studies “peer-reviewed” by Sandra Stiengraber and other committed fractivists.
It was all a dog and pony show to make it appear there was science behind the final SGEIS. There wasn’t. It was a fraud. The NRDC and its friends stole the land out from under us. They stole our economic freedom. They stole our future. They made us slaves and ordered us to turn over our property and our livelihoods to them.
Please ponder these things as you celebrate the 4th and vote this November. Our economic freedom is at stake. We can’t keep losing it or we’ll all be slaves. Economic freedom isn’t free. It must be defended.

“Economic freedom isn’t free. It must be defended.”
Without a healthy natural ecosystem, the economy ceases to exist, and so does human kind. Natural gas is a fossil fuel, is contributing to climate change, and ecological destruction. The Earth’s natural ecosystem must be defended against those who write articles such as the one above. Our children’s lives depend on it. Complete and utter capitalistic bullshit.

This article is pure unabashed, bullshit, propaganda of the highest order. Unless you happen to be a wealthy person of privilege trying to convince the other, just how great things are for everyone because you are rich.

There was so much hot-air in this article. Use it to generate electricity. After all we are seeking a source of alternative energy.

Artificial Stupidity
“If you are the most intelligent organism on the planet (at least technologically), why create something that is faster, more resilient and more adaptable, that will likely use its abilities to eliminate you. Our advantages so far (being made systematic) have only resulted in a cancerous growth. Do we need cancerous growth squared? And to what purpose?”

Freedom? What Freedom?
“The king’s men could simply take our things, search our persons on whim. The colonists objected to such treatment and cited such treatment among the reasons for their decision to secede.
Is it not a fact that the government’s men (and women) can simply take our things? Search us on whim? Have you traveled recently?”
“The king and parliament did not concern themselves with the colonists’“safety.” If a colonists wished, he could ride his horse as fast as he liked, eat what he liked, smoke what he liked. No authority pestered him about his choices. He was not told with whom he must do business, or forced to build his house a certain way or forbidden from planting a vegetable garden on his property. He was not compelled to purchase insurance of any kind whatsoever.
How about today?
In most parts of the Land of the Free, you and I are not even free to purchase fireworks to celebrate our supposed freedom. We’re allowed “safe” sparklers and such. But nothing that flies or explodes. To possess or use such constitutes a crime in most states.
The irony of this is lost on most people.”
