That’s how lost and far out the Party looks more than a year from the general election. Back on dry land, the resourceful Golden Golem of Greatness made another flanking maneuver around the Resistance’s left, disarming the so-called Flores Rule from 1994 that underlay the racket of using children to evade the immigration laws. Now the kids can remain with their parents awaiting deportation, which is the natural consequence of sneaking across the border illegally. The Resistance cannot grok the reality that federal law actually applies in cases of border-jumping. Shrieks of “racism” rise from coastal yoga studios and cappuccino bars. Uncle Sam is racist through and through, from his run-down boot-heels to his chin-whiskers.

Don’t you understand that the Civil War was fought over the attempt by damnable whites to suppress basketball, The Times imputes. The Democratic contest may be peaking way too early. And Joe Biden hasn’t even had a chance to claim he is the out-of-wedlock grandson of W.C. Handy. There are indications that the political center is already a little tired of the Everything-Is-Racist trope that the party ran up the flagpole this summer. For The New York Times, it became the publicly acknowledged official editorial slant when newsroom chief Dean Baquet announced that the paper needed a replacement for the shredded gonfalon of RussiaGate.
That move by Mr. Baquet has more than a little quality of whistling past the graveyard. When the summer is over, ill winds will be blowing the SS Resistance close to the Reefs of Durham and Barr, when many of the ship’s officers — Ensigns Brannen, Clapper, Comey, Lynch, McCabe, and many others, perhaps even Admiral Obama — start perp-walking around the deck. What a mighty embarrassment that will be. The cry that “mistakes were made” won’t salvage party’s reputation as it founders and sinks. Glug glug.

Today media is at the bottom of the list of trusted sources yet we all look to it for some kind of score card for who is winning. What is happening is we are all losing through “dellusionalism”. New words have to be created for all this. Forces of destruction are greater than human identity. These forces are now planetary hence the many voices of salvation. When doom rears its head that is when voices are raised. Doom is difficult to face so it creates hope in dishonesty. There is no salvation from what is ahead so anyone claiming they have the answers are themselves the problem.
The modern democratic party has turned out to be as failed as the Republican experiment that began with Reagan. We should have listened to Jimmy Carter but instead the Hollywood Reagan guile lead us to 40 years of irresponsible activity. The fake liberals like the Clintons were part of that too. Bill eliminated Glass Steagall so we could embrace the late stage capitalism of financialization ensuring cancerous globalism would take over the earth. The peace dividend of the victorious American Empire was pissed away on brutal unnecessary wars and the late stage capitalism of anything goes and nothing matters embraced in a greed is good when it profits. So we thought until actual limits not theoretical ones.
Now the consequences are coming due. Payment is due but Bernie and Pocahontas think we can give away the store so all can prosper. Not to be left out Trump thinks we have the greatest economy ever as he destroys globalism and fiscal responsibility. Not that globalism should not be roped and tamed but don’t think you can kill it and prosper. Trump is living in the same delusional world the democratic party is in. In fact, all of DC is an insane asylum. Nowhere in the rest of the world is it much different. Humans are not scaled properly so no nation or ideology will fix that. You can’t fix a lie. As we venture into a 2020 electoral fraud and a new potentially fatal trade and military cold war we should be asking ourselves how did we get here. We should be acknowledging it was wrong and we are all sick. It is only be recognizing illness you can seek a cure except in our case the cure is pain, suffering and likely death for many. That is overshoot. We can either acknowledge the cold cruel reality of overshoot and adapt and mitigate or we can dig out a grave. We are digging our grave currently.

Israel has struck Iranian military sites in Syria to prevent what it said was a pending drone strike by Iran.
Israel’s military rarely acknowledges operations in Syria, but it claimed on Saturday its strikes had prevented an attack on Israel “using killer drones”.
PM Benjamin Netanyahu hailed his military’s “major operational effort”.
Israel is believed to have carried out hundreds of strikes in Syria since civil war broke out there in 2011, to try to prevent Iran gaining a foothold.
An Israeli military spokesman said the strikes on Saturday targeted Iran’s Quds force in Aqraba, south-east of the capital, Damascus.
A Syrian military source quoted by the official Sana news agency said that Syrian anti-aircraft defences “detected enemy targets from Golan heading towards the area around Damascus”.
“The aggression was immediately confronted and so far the majority of the enemy Israeli missiles have been destroyed before reaching their targets,” the source said.
In a tweet, Mr Netanyahu said: “I reiterate: Iran has no immunity anywhere. Our forces operate in every sector against the Iranian aggression. ‘If someone rises up to kill you, kill him first.'”

Truth is, the US did export its manufacturing base to China in pursuit of $$$$. If Emperor Don believes he can just order them back, well, it is just another example of his insanity. They may move to another country, but it will not be the US. It will be to another country with low pay and fewer restrictions like Vietnam or even the Philippines. No company could compete paying US wages and benefits plus the regulations and controls by government.
