Iranian jets fire on U.S. drone

Two Iranian Su-25 fighter jets fired on an unarmed U.S. Air Force Predator drone in the Persian Gulf last week, CNN has learned.

The incident raises fresh concerns within the Obama administration about Iranian military aggression in crucial Gulf oil shipping lanes.

The drone was in international airspace east of Kuwait, U.S. officials said, adding it was engaged in routine maritime surveillance.

Although the drone was not hit, the Pentagon is concerned.

Two U.S. officials explained the jets were part of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps force, which has been more confrontational than regular Iranian military forces.

The Obama administration did not disclose the incident, which occurred just days before the presidential election on November 1, but three senior officials confirmed the details to CNN.

The officials declined to be identified because of sensitive intelligence matters surrounding the matter.

The drone’s still and video cameras captured the incident showing two SU-25s approaching the Predator and firing its onboard guns.

The Iranian pilots continued to fire shots that went beneath the Predator but were never successful in hitting it, according to the officials.

U.S. military intelligence analysts are still not sure if the Iranian pilots simply were unable to hit the drone due to lack of combat skill, or whether they deliberately were missing and had no intention of bringing down the drone. But as one of the officials said, “it doesn’t matter, they fired on us.”

The official confirmed the United States protested the incident but has not heard back from Iran.

Iran has, at times, been confrontational in the region.  In January, the U.S. military and coast guard had close encounters with Iranian Navy vessels which approached at high speeds and exhibited provocative behavior.

Unarmed U.S. Air Force Predator drone: Yes sure it was….

routine maritime surveillance.: Translation spying on Iran

Iranian military aggression:Translation defending themselves against US military aggression

    international airspace: Translation violating Irans.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps force, which has been more confrontational than regular Iranian military forces: Translation, There are are ‘Good’ Iranian military and ‘bad’ Iranian military. The US hopes the ‘good’ Iranian military can be co-opted into fighting there own ‘bad’ military and be used later to prop up whatever puppet regime the US hopes to install.

But as one of the officials said, “it doesn’t matter, they fired on us.”: Translation We really hope people will buy into the idea of a spy drone being shot at is a good excuse to attack Iran now.

Iran(United States) has, at times(constantly), been confrontational in the region. In January, the U.S. military and coast guard(?) (wasnt aware the Gulf was part of the US coastline) had close encounters with Iranian Navy(US navy) vessels which approached at high speeds and exhibited provocative behavior.( In the USN, its shoot first and deny that its even a problem later)

There all fixed up and clarified!

One could wonder what US drones need to do in the Gulf, next to Iran, but then again the US is the (selfdescribed) ‘policeman of the world’, so that’s OK. Do not expect any proof that the drones were indeed shot at.

“The incident raises fresh concerns within the Obama administration about Iranian military aggression in crucial Gulf oil shipping lanes.”

Not entirely sure what a drone has to do with ‘Iranian agression vis a vis shipping lanes’. But ‘news organization’ CNN is obviously willing in helping give the US government the much needed pretext to start a war. Some day they will succeed. The war will start the latest at the very moment the financial meltdown will begin, so extraordinairy measures can be implemented.

    In this poll…

… it is the US, Kenia and Nigeria that support Israel. The rest and even Britain (population that is) is highly negative about Israel, the main warmonger in the Gulf, where the US is merely following orders. I hope the US government realizes how dangerous this kind of isolation could prove to be.

Funny thing about that poll. 59% of Canadian oppose Israel, but you wouldn’t know it on Parliament hill. Harper is busy making military alliances with them, and also talks about attacks on Israel being ~ to an attack on Canada itself. The jewish tail wags a lot more than just the US dog. It happens all over the world. Populations that want nothing to do with Israel and its war-mongering are ruled by war-mongers that cant sign military trade deals
alliances with the jews fast enough.

Read the secret transcripts of the conversation between Nixon and Billy Graham to understand first hand what is going on at the very top of all Anglophone states of majority protestant heritage. And since the downfall of Nixon things only got worse. And France is not much better either. And the core pillar of this power is media control. Thank God, the internet is now here as an effective counter force.

Gee, I wonder what the U.S would do if an Iranian “drone” was found to be flying 16 miles off of their coast?

Predators can carry Sidewinder air-to-air missiles, but I’m not aware that this has ever seen combat. It would be big news, and our own Air Force would be very very pissed off to see drones doing air combat.

Yes, there is no need to worry about 9 billion people in 2050. After this war there may not be 9 people alive.
