Iran Nuclear Chief: Whoever Has Nuclear Technology Gains ‘Inherent Power’

Iran’s Nuclear Chief Ali Akbar Salehi said whoever has nuclear technology gains an “inherent power” in a video posted on an Iranian affiliated YouTube account. The video is translated with English subtitles.

Salehi contended the West is pressuring Iran on its nuclear program because they fear Iran also gaining this “inherent power”:

ALI AKBAR SALEHI: Whoever has nuclear technology also gains an inherent power. Why is the West putting so much pressure on us when they know we are not seeking nuclear weapons? They say that these people are becoming an example to the world. They have resisted and have advanced so much in this technology that they have created this inherent power for themselves spontaneously. Regardless, this is a power.

Salehi curiously does not explain how nuclear technology translates to “inherent power,” although one can reasonably infer the “power” he is referring to is nuclear deterrence.

In order for a state to practice nuclear deterrence, a country must have nuclear weapons to deter or influence actions by other states.

While the Iranian nuclear chief tried to execute a careful rhetorical dance, all he really did was tacitly reaffirm his nation’s desire for a nuclear weapon.

What is ‘An Iranian affiliated Youtube account’ supposed to imply exactly? Most humans, simply say, Its on youtube, here it is.

Regardless, I watched this clip and did not in any way, ‘infer’ anything like what this neo-con rag implies. But keep trying….

The Iranians are idiots. You would think they would have seen the writing on the wall with all the liabilities Nuk WMD’s and Nuk power represent. Sure you get power but at what cost.

Ask North Korea the value of nukes. I’m sure that Israel is not going to give up theirs anytime soon. Ditto any other nuclear country. As for liabilities … too late to think of that.

For the record, proliferation of nuclear weapons is an absolute nightmare, not in the least because it provides the globalists a very strong argument for the inevitability of world government.

Having said that, Free Bacon shows it’s hypocrisy by not worrying about real nukes in possession of Pakistan, India (allies, sort of), North-Korea (clowns not to be taken seriously) or Israel (owner of the US), but is instead putting all the pressure on Iran, that has not any. The US and hence Free Bacon are at war with anybody who refuses to bow for the kosher bankster regime that wants it all, spies on everybody, threathens everybody, drones everybody, overthrows any government it does not like.

And then there are still people who don’t understand why these people at some point were thrown out of every country they set foot in.

When we get a full-blown global economic collapse, the governments that control nuclear power stations will indeed have “inherent power” — that is, the power to continue generating electricity, machines and military technologies. Those governments, their military and the citizens who are designated as “worthy of getting electrical power” will still be able to watch television, take hot showers and cook in the manner to which they have become accustomed. Everybody else not hooked up to nuclear generated electricity will be literally “off the grid”. When the global economy collapses, the “Mad Max world” will not be obsessed with the last final tankers of oil, they’ll be obsessed with holding and controlling the nuclear power stations.

Interesting concept, NR. But, who is going to man these complexes? I see the collapse affecting those without the ‘nuclear electric’ to the point that those who ‘have’ will be the targets of those who don’t. You need to think beyond the benies, to the reality in such a world. Is being a gated community prisoner, the kind of ‘life’ you would want to live? Not me. Where do you get your food? Clothing? Water? All those shower replacements, etc. Don’t you think the have-nots would not soon take out the power plant in some way? Or the people that man it?

On this one, I disagree. And even so, in a few years, the fuel would be expended and the nuclear age would end, except for the death to follow. What happens to their kids and theirs, if the others would allow them to live.
