Unfortunately, a race war will do absolutely nothing to solve those same set of predicaments. Climate change, an economic system which requires exponential growth in a finite world, environmental degradation, ocean acidification, peak energy, overpopulation, and a growing division amongst the masses leading to violence, societal breakdown, and war. I can think of no worse place to be than in an area of such high population density, especially one that is expected to be largely underwater some time in the not so distant future.

We may ultimately be done for. When our politicians do idiot things, like allowing our nations to be colonized by the third world, they are asking for trouble. The more people disliked it, the more determined they were to do it, and criminalize anyone that opposed it. You can randomly pick a bunch of individuals out of a crowd to form a group/team then give them a competitive task vs another group and the group cohesion/tribalism starts right away. That is a social psychology test that has been run over and over and the results are always the same. The tasks vary, but are always meaningless games. The humans are definitely hard wired for such behaviour. Some small number of humans exercise their neo cortex and thus do not fall prey so easily to those emotions from the limbic system. Given the right conditions almost every human will tribe up, but there is a name for the ones who run around with their hair on fire at the first sign of trouble – useful idiots. AKA, cannon fodder.

GregT, I am with you. I avoided the Vietnam war by joining the National Guard. I preferred a legitimate way to die, if necessary. Not a fake one manufactured by Washington and the arms dealers. I served my country during the race riots of the 60s as a non-com and as an officer. Nuff said.
