Enter the Old White Knight

They say he has beheld the weenies of the field and found them wanting — no, dangerously feeble, limp, insipid, deluded unto a kind of hebephrenia — and now, just maybe, Michael “Mike” Bloomberg will don the old steel breastplate and Kevlar jockstrap, take up the lance, and sally forth in a Lincoln Navigator to slay the Golden Golem of Greatness stalking the land… the last Great Hope of the Boomer Gen! That’s the scuttlebutt, anyway, or maybe more like a fevered dream of the restive elites stewing in their private equity aeries amid all this bothersome talk of wealth confiscation far out in the primary state flyover thickets.

Here’s what is generally misunderstood about Michael Bloomberg’s mayoral career in New York City. He did not so much manage or personally direct the fabulous post-9/11 revival of Manhattan and Brooklyn, the renovation of all those skeezy neighborhoods, the construction orgy of so many gleaming new apartment towers, the wondrous buff-up of Olmstead’s green gem, Central Park, the cleanup of the disgusting precinct around Times Square, and the defeat of common street crime — palpable improvements for sure — as he presided over the financialization of the economy run from those elite aeries on Wall Street, to the prodigious advantage of Old Gotham as all the assets stripped from the sclerotic industrial USA outlands got converted, abracadabra, into an infinity of digital dollar credits on the Too Big To Fail bank balance sheets, of which the revival of New York City was a mere byproduct. And so, Mike Bloomberg is now called to defend the empire of money under grave threat from these yipping midgets of socialist Jacobinism come to infest the Democratic Party. Or something like that. (Isn’t it all about narratives these days?)

People seem to forget that Mike was a Republican when he presided over all that glory, but let’s face it, maybe what the other party really needs is a less democratic approach to the situation at hand: the epochal inequality of wealth and the sickening twilight of the long “American century,” and all its usufructs.

Of course, at 77, Mike also represents the arch-hobgoblin of Wokesterism, the religion of the neo-Jacobins, namely, old white men — the horror and effrontery! The ultimate slap-in-the-face to all those roistering trans-humans on campus, the lame, the halt, the mis-gendered, the perpetually victimized, the intersectionally oppressed, the over-phoned! Will they stand for this billionaire ringer being sent into combat by all those top-hatted, silk-stockinged villains of Capital? More precisely, will Bernie call “foul,” as he kind of failed to do in 2016 after Hillary’s DNC stooges flooded-the-zone and drowned him in super-delegates? Will Elizabeth Warren break out in a war dance? Will Hillary find a way to deliver 7.5 grams of lead to Mike’s medulla oblongata?

And how does Mike measure up against his old Boomer Gen fellow New Yorker and sometime adversary, Mr. Trump? For all of his gilded trappings, there’s no denying that Mr. Trump is beloved by what used to be known as the Salt of the Earth — more lately the “Deplorables” — despite the fact that the president may have actually never been on a New York Subway once in his well-padded life, while Mike was a renowned “strap-hanger” in his city hall glory days. The awful irony! Also, President DJT is almost never seen dressed in anything but that straightjacket of a business suit and tie, gold cufflinks and all, while Mike has often appeared in Hamptons casuals of perfectly distressed blue jeans, polo shirt, and Gucci loafers which, these days, is tantamount to hippie garb.

Mike’s most obvious selling point is that he appears to be what used to be known as “a normal person,” that is in speech, manner, and general comportment. But, normal to whom these days? Perhaps not to the WalMart shoppers moiling by the tens of thousands in those heartland arenas where Mr. Trump casts his magic spells of plain speech and surly manner, much beloved in these days of dastardly, confabulating lawyer-speak, gender studies crypto-metaphysical bullshit, and self-serving New York Times Ivy League ambiguation.

Speaking of which, what might Mike Bloomberg do about the impeachment circus led by the imbecile Adam Schiff that is liable to end in a farrago of humiliation so intense that all the Lawfare ninjas on God’s green earth will not avail to rescue the Democratic Party’s lost honor? Or, how will a Bloomberg campaign maneuver through the blizzard of indictments coming down against the former agents, servelings, chore-boys, foot-soldiers, and media sirens of Barack Obama’s runaway Deep State?

REAL Green, starts with individual and local but aspires to community. This is because REAL Green is green prepping and the real standard of prep is longer term prepping and that is based upon viable communities with producing local environments. Viable communities start with enlightened individuals. REAL Green understands that in our delocalized and individualized world viable communities are in danger. In fact, with the digital age viable communities are even more at risk. This is not to say digital connections are all bad. In the case of the decline of viable small communities digital connections represent lifeboats.

The basics of REAL Green starts with behavior and that beginning is in acceptance of decline. This then is included in the basics of localism and community. It asks people to be aware of delocalization and the dangers of a declining globalism. REAL Green says this is what should spark a REAL Green effort. REAL Green says ultimately a viable small community of like-minded individuals active in a common effort locally is the best it can get. Viable small communities abound but many are delocalized and not aware of it. These communities should first embrace a collapse process in localism and understand the tendency for small communities to be delocalized and dependent on the status quo. The status quo limits small communities to this because of the homogenization of life. People and small communities are trapped in this homogenization by the fact that survival and advancement requires it. A very lucky few can withdraw away from this trap but since we are in the Anthropocene all locals are delocalized or exposed to a bifurcating globalism of collapse and migration.

What is even more difficult is real viability of small communities in local production. Take a church group for example, they are locked into a structured belief system. Many of these belief systems are struggling themselves against homogenization which is the loss of uniqueness. This struggle which often involves resources then taxes groups away for the real need for resilience and sustainability locally. These critical elements are then forgotten about because of the needs for identity preservation instead of a viable local that can withstand destructive change with sustainable practices. There are very few small communities that are apex in resilience and sustainability.

REAL Green has a monastic individual approach for those awakened and those who have resources. Many cannot be REAL Green because they are caught in many different traps from education to lack of basic security. If a person has REAL Green that person seeks to build the seeds of a viable local community individually. If the environment is conducive then a viable small community which is resilience to collapse and relatively sustainable to decline will develop naturally. If this does not happen the individual is still doing good works for the local and attempting to lower the foot print the individual inhabits. This is done both for self-preservation but also as an act of caring and compassion for one’s local environment.

REAL Green is about relative effort with hybridization. The relative effort is what is optimal in the hybridization of using the status quo to leave it with leverage. This lever is a tool but it is also dangerous so a REAL Green must always use wisdom in its application or else the individual can be consumed from within and from outside. Further hybridization involves cultivating low carbon approaches of our ancestors with modern skills, tools, knowledge, and materials. REAL Green wisdom attempts to pick and choose what should be mixed. This then involves triage and the clearing of the deadwood of the status quo and in its place building a REAL Green monastery.

This monastery that is characterized by asceticism is not religious but it can be because REAL Green is an add-on not a way to embrace a higher power. Locals have unique characteristics and by extension the individual. REAL Green adds to this the Kubler Roth of acceptance of decline and seeks to use wisdom of decline to adapt and mitigate a local to this collapse process. This is human and natural. Since we are in the Anthropocene humans are an apex species in all sorts of ways including advancing ecological health or more often attempting to do less harm. A viable REAL Green influenced community is the best a local can get. What this means is a local that optimizes its human and environmental situation emulating natural ecology but within the decline and failure of the Anthropocene. In other words, REAL Green relatively adapts and mitigates the collapse process to reduce pain and suffering which is the basis of the REAL Green awakening. Unless an individual and or a viable small community acknowledge the collapse process with both human civilization and the planetary environment, they are FAKE Green and or Brown DENIALIST. REAL Green seeks to navigate these groups yielding to these greater forces and by doing so beats the rush by proactive and measured declining in place.

Thus far 35 Trump advisors/associates and three companies have been convicted or plead guilty to a laundry list of high crimes.

That group is composed of seven former Trump advisers, 26 Russian nationals, three Russian companies, one California man, and one London-based lawyer. Seven of these people (including five of the six former Trump advisers) have pleaded guilty.

If you also count investigations that Mueller originated but then referred elsewhere in the Justice Department, you can add a plea deal from one more person to the list.

It’s a sprawling set of allegations, encompassing both election interference charges against overseas Russians, and various other crimes by American Trump advisers.

Last week, a trial by jury found Trump advisor Roger Stone guilty on all 7 criminal counts.
