Barak Confidant: Israel Has Decided to Attack

Public Policy

Former Labor party minister, Uzi Baram, wrote a column in Yisrael HaYom today that urges Israel’s leadership to tell the people clearly what lies in store when they execute an expected attack on Iran.  What is most striking about the article is this:

Recently, I’ve come to believe that the leaders of the State have decided to act [attack Iran].

A trusted Israeli source tells me that Baram learned this from none other than a close confidant of Ehud Barak.  In other words, Barak has begun to tell his closest friends that Israel is going to war.  Before hearing this, I thought chances of an Israeli attack were 70-30.  Now I believe they are 85-15.

Another interesting focus of Baram’s article is the economic fallout that such an attack will generate.  Though he speaks in terms familiar to anyone who’s read Meir Dagan’s warnings on this subject, the columnist focuses specifically on economic issues.  He warns a strike will bring an end to international investment in Israeli business and a halt to the flourishing tourism industry:

Every Israeli citizen should know that what has been will not be in the future…It will mean the end of today’s Israel.

…It’s no secret what will happen.  If we attack, the Iranians will respond in kind.  The western and Muslim world, including Iran’s allies and enemies, will tighten the “siege belt” around us.

In effect, Baram is warning that a BDS-like state of siege will descend on Israel.  It won’t be fueled by moral arguments against Occupation as the current BDS movement is.  It will be fueled by an even more potent fuel: outrage at Israel’s aggression against Iran.

I wonder where the world’s persistent antisemitism comes from? Iran complies to all the nuclear rules, in contrast to Israel itself, that in fact has hundreds of nukes and missiles that can destroy Europe in a day. Israel was a mistake from the beginning. Give them a piece of land in the US, next to an ‘indian’ reservation. Or maybe Hitler’s idea of Madagaskar was not that bad after all.

Madagascar is too good for them. How about a nice island in the pacific that is only a few meters above sea level? For now… ^_^

“I wonder where the world’s persistent antisemitism comes from” –
Oh boy… do a bit of reading and I think you’ll find that anti-semitism has been around for a tiny wee bit longer than the modern state of Israel.
It’s quite possible to be appalled by Israel’s behaviour without being anti-semitic: look, I’m doing it right now. I know quite a few Jewish people, and the majority of them are opposed to Israeli aggression and repression. It’s silly to lump Israelis and Jews into the same basket, but quite handy if you are already anti-semitic and looking for a justification for being that way.

I would never joke about that, after all I am from Holland. (((

    Blub, blub.

Once we reach the “friend of a friend of a really close frient” it stops being a secret, and becomes a message. The question is – a message to get ready, or another bluff?

Talking about floods… Are you OK Bill?

Hi Arthur. I’m fine. Yes, we got about 7 inches of rain in the last few days, and many of the streets are flooded, but life goes on here. Government offices are closed, schools, etc, but shops and malls are open and life goes on. Manila got 35 inches of rain last month. That is twice the normal amount. Freak weather or climate change? Who knows, but we deal with it and the kids make use of their school vacation by playing and swimming in the streets. ^_^

At last! A sure fire way to unite the entire Muslim World. (against the West)

Here’s the best part. There’s 400 million dollars in far Right Wing USDs’ supporting the Romenee to sanction such a move. Even IF he knew better, (sofisticated foreign policy observer that he is) can he at this stage, refuse that kind of PAK money by disowning a policy which, will if carried forth, will spell death for millions of innocents?

The only Republican of any stature who can and perhaps will expose this tragedy in time, is of course Ron Paul.

President Obama also needs to speak to this situation, never mind risking losing a far right vote he would never have had in the first place. POTUS needs to earn that Nobel and sooner the better.

If you believe Obama is a Muslim, and millions of Americans do, Then we begin to understand how his reelection would be in peril if he were to take an anti war position. While President Bush made it a point to visit several Mosques,
Obama would not dare be pictured in one. There you have it. The big lie wins and millions, including Jews die.

  9. Arthur on Thu, 9th Aug 2012 3:45 am

Bobinget, it has nothing to do with extreme right or left. In the US the president does not decide upon war and peace, he merely carries out what the ‘American Supreme Soviet’ (CFR) has decided. Total nobodies like Obama or Bush read aloud from a piece of paper the policies decided upon in collectivist zionist dominated bodies like the CFR.

Until the 2003 invasion, Iraq was ruled by the sunni minority under Saddam.
Until now Syria is ruled by the shia alawite minority under Assad.
Until the genocide Ruanda was ruled by the tutsi minority.
Until 911 truth comes out or the coming WW3 is lost, the US is ruled by the zionist minority.

Arthur, all too true! If Israel gets wiped out, then and only then will world peace be possible.

Forget about the baloney of ‘jewish administration of Hitler Germany’, but links like these….

    http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/bushlist.htm

…give a good idea of the current state of the american power structure. It is the same situation as was the case in the USSR between 1917-1938 and to a lesser extent until the death of Stalin. After 1953 zionist power in the USSR was crushed by the army in a short campaign and a massive exodus started to Israel and the US. The only protection ordinary Americans have against neo-red terror is the Constitution and 90 million privately owned firearms and the internet. But 911 was a half-successful attempt to undermine the freedoms Americans enjoy and a next similar staged terror blow could morph the US in a tiranny. Don’t for a minute think that what happened to Russians cannot happen to you, America.

Antisemitism has never disappeared. It is always here as other psychological diseases. Some of you are typical examples of it. Of course, Israel is always guilty. It always disturbs our wonderful peace. Israel is guilty of WWI and WWII or any one of hundreds of wars in Europe and everywhere. . And how about the Civil War?

Antisemitism can only be cured by lobotomy, I guess. Some of you could be successfully employed to operate a gas chamber.

    What a shame!

  13. Arthur on Thu, 9th Aug 2012 6:33 pm

Bor does not seem to have any problem with the crystal clear warmongering of the Israelis as well as the zionised elite in the US vis a vis Iran. WW3 is forced upon us if we like it or not, but Bor thinks we should shut up about it in order to avoid antisemitism acquisations. Doesn’t work pal. The internet is a desaster for the NWO grand strategy of your pets as it nullifies the inormation monopoly of the media. So what are you going to do about it? Everything is now subject of public scrutiny, ww1, ww2, 911, all behind the backs of the gatekeepers and out of their control. To bad for you Bor. We do not have to wait until the all-lies open their archives in 2047. Now come on Bor, tell the Israelis to attack an innocent country and wait what is going to happen…

    Shalom Bor.

  14. Bor on Thu, 9th Aug 2012 9:11 pm

Israel is not ideal country by any means. But it is very difficult for me NOT to understand its desire to defend its very existence since its very existence was challenged in 1948, 1967, 1973 and many times after. The president of ‘innocent’ Iran has declared publicly that Israel should be exterminated as such. (BTW, the same opinion have some of the respondents of this blog).

While I do not think that Iran will be able to develop and deliver an A-Bomb, my vision from here is some what different of a vision of people, who live in Israel. How would you feel if a city (wherever you live) would be under regular rocket barrage?

I also do not believe that Israel will attack Iran for they do not have a capability to do that. (BTW, they would not do it even if they would have such a capability – they are not stupid, you know).

What is remarkable, however, is an anti-Semitic tone of venomous speeches and writings about Israel, starting with acquisitions of disturbing the world peace and therefore of a necessity to destroy Israel all together.

Our troops are in Turkey, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia. We operate in Pakistan. We keep our fleet in the Indian Ocean. And, of course, Israel is guilty of all of that! Israel is disturbing the world peace! None of the above mentioned country can reach us. Israel, however, can be really destroyed by single nuclear attack since Iran can really reach it.

Believe me, if Israel will be destroyed, the world will not be at peace since the world peace has nothing to do with Israel. The world was ALWAYS at war. Just a reminder – Israel did not exist since 65(?) till 1948.

How, in the world, the state with 7.9 million population can disturb the world peace? I do not understand. What I do understand, however, that antisemitism is always here. The typical anti-Semite needs to hate Israel. Otherwise he is depressed.

Try to imagine that Jews, by some how, disappear from history. What the world will be? No Christianity and Islam for starters. But there would be no world peace since peoples hated each others from the beginning of time.

Stop being anti-Semite. It is not productive.

Will respond to Bor tomorrow in full length as I am underway homewards from my holiday in the Alps.

  16. Arthur on Sun, 12th Aug 2012 4:40 pm

Oh yes, still that promise open… slightly reluctant to go into that again, as Bor has not posted anything regarding the energy situation and is merely her to further his ethnic interests. The reason for my presence her is to study resource depletion and it’s effects, not to burden this site by posting politically sensitive opinions. Having said that, I make good on my promise:

“But it is very difficult for me NOT to understand its desire to defend its very existence since its very existence was challenged in 1948, 1967, 1973 and many times after.”

Baloney. Israel was stolen from the Arabs. It was sort of a ‘gift’ from the British to the jews, in exchange for the jews bringing the US into WW1 on the side of the British (Balfour Declaration) and help them to victory, which was a desaster for Germany. WW1 was masterminded, desired, setup by the British for the full 100%. But the British had no right to give away Palestine in the first place.

Israel started hostilities in 1967. Why don’t you read the official CIA standpoint on cia.gov. Google “CIA Analysis of the 1967 Arab-Israeli War” by David S. Robarge. 1967 was a war of Israeli agression with the aim of territorial expansion and nothing else. Israel, which can nuclear destroy Europe in a few hours was and is never endangered by anyone.

“The president of ‘innocent’ Iran has declared publicly that Israel should be exterminated as such”

Another vicious lie. Even the NYT wrote an article by Ethan Bronner (no doubt a jew) “Just How Far Did They Go, Those Words Against Israel?” (google it up) admitting what Ahma-whatever, really had said. He was talking about regime change in Jeruzalem, a phrase zionist politicians in the US are using every day. The aim was not exterminate anybody but rather to achieve a breakthrough in the untenable situation of the Palestinias.

“While I do not think that Iran will be able to develop and deliver an A-Bomb”

But we need to attack Iran anyway, right?

“I also do not believe that Israel will attack Iran for they do not have a capability to do that.”

They have, thanks to the US and Europe.

“starting with acquisitions of disturbing the world peace and therefore of a necessity to destroy Israel all together.”

In internationally held polls, Israel is universally (correctly) identified as the largest threat to world peace. Google: “European Poll: Israel Biggest Threat To World Peace”

“Our troops are in Turkey, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia. We operate in Pakistan. We keep our fleet in the Indian Ocean. And, of course, Israel is guilty of all of that!”

Yep, that’s right, since US foreign policy is entirely dictated by the ‘Israel Lobby’. Read Mearsheimer and Walt.

“How, in the world, the state with 7.9 million population can disturb the world peace?”

Why don’t you reread the title of this thread?

“The typical anti-Semite needs to hate Israel. Otherwise he is depressed. ”

Sure, ignore all the arguments against jewish behaviour and shout “stop the hate”.

“Try to imagine that Jews, by some how, disappear from history. What the world will be? No Christianity and Islam for starters.”

That’s a joke. original Christianity (Catholicism) and Islam both oppose Judaism, regardless of their references to Abraham. Besides, without jews we would not had have marxism, bolshevism, the Armenian genocide, WW2, the nuclear bomb, the Kennedy assassination, mass third world immigration to western countries, 9/11, the Iraq/Afghan war on the bases of WMD lies and now possibly WW3.

We would be fine without you.

It is just like in summer 1914… the british fleet leaves Germany after a friendship visit… A little later they are at war. In 1940 the Dutch population, including my parents, had not the faintest idea that next day the Germans would invade, let alone why they would do it.

Currently watching the closing ceremony of the very well organized London Olympics and listening to the touching Waterloo Sunset by the aging Kinks… If a war against Iran will be initiated by Ziosphere, this might very well be the last olympics of the globalist era, meaning the last olympics ever.
