Obama seems determined to restart the Cold War with both Russia AND China.

The central bankers appear determined to finalize their plan for a one world banking system. While the Cold War was very lucrative, it was never their ultimate goal.
In the big scheme of things, Obama is nothing more than an expendable pawn. As long as he does what he is told to do, he will be allowed to live his life in the limelight, and reap the rewards of compliance. The moment that Obama attempts to fulfill his election promises, he will be taken out with whatever means are necessary.

We’re not likely to see a “one world banking system” while Russia and China form a strategic alliance in response to the US and EU putting sanctions on Russia after the invasion of Ukraine. What we are seeing is Cold War II, with China and Russia forming a partnership and opposing the hegemony of the USA and EU.

“What we are seeing is Cold War II”
From my point of view, what we are seeing is a lot of theatrics to make people believe we are seeing Cold War II. When TPTB start cranking up the political rhetoric and fire up the war machine, people pay close rapt attention — which keeps them from noticing what is really going on. Distraction. Misdirection. Don’t you think?

One world currency is closer than you think. It’s called SDR’s and is used by the IMF currently. The loans to the Ukraine are in SDRs.
China and Russia are trying to get the IMF basket of currencies changed to reflect the new reality, meaning that the US would lose it’s number one position and ability to veto changes. That means that the value of the dollar would plunge to reality also. Where would it stop? Maybe at 40% or less of today’s purchasing power. THAT is what the rest of the world is doing to the future of the USD. How would you like your pay check to be only worth 40% of what it is worth today? Or less? Remember, trade would not change much except the US would have to actually produce something of equal value to purchase anything overseas.

Meanwhile: “… Beijing is keen on substituting the US dollar with the yuan in all of China’s trade with other countries. The Chinese currency now trades directly with the Japanese yen, the Australian dollar, the Brazilian real, the EU’s euro, the New Zealand dollar and many other currencies….

NWR,
Yes, I think a distraction for sure, slight of hand, keep the Plants focused on issues in far away places while the rug is being pulled from under their feet.
Also, not really sure how pertinent this is, but the radio ads are coming loud and strong for young people to join the military right now. Never heard this before in my lifetime?

NWR,
Yes, “bread and circus'”, and war is the biggest circus of them all. It appears that we are headed toward “the” resource war of all time, I’m just not sure who’s hoping they’ll win. I guess I just don’t believe that TPTB are really nations anymore. Are they corporations? Or is the plan just to have the peons kill each other until they feel they’ve accomplished something, thereby keeping yourself at the top of the heap? I really think its the latter. It seems to me, reading all sorts of other media sites around the net, that this Monterey reserves issue becoming public has spooked a lot of people. I wonder how much it’s going to jack up the west’s desire for war? It seems to me that Russia and China would rather keep going in circles around war, hoping that the US economy finally hits the rocks and sinks the US war machine.
GregT,
I don’t listen to the radio that much, but judging by the flurry of action internationally lately, it really looks like things (war, either military or economic) are indeed starting to happen (as seen by this arm-chair quarter-back.)

I didn’t watch the video before I posted, but … Holy Crap! Just listen to these two talk. And they do it with straight faces!
How terrible and untrustworthy China is because of its spying!
How the US has “put” Russia and China together, as if the US controls everything, and was a bad parent for letting its children associate with bad characters! It should have made Russia and China sit on opposite sides of the class.
Man, the arrogance of these two is:
– astounding
– baffling
– hypocritical
– what is defined globally as “American”

I am afraid that some of the influential people in the west consider war a restart. Promises to people gone, 17 trillion gone. Shear Madness
Davy, Hermann, MO on Fri, 23rd May 2014 5:47 am
Mak, what you are describing is pure speculation and in reality is not possible without a financial collapse of all participants. The US and the global system it is a part of will fail with any correction more than a few percent of financial values. The US is a critical node being the largest economy along with China. The same is true of china which is rotten at its core. Mak, you are just crowing your anti-US propaganda. Spare me your wild predictions
Makati1 on Fri, 23rd May 2014 8:04 pm
No it is not. An easy switch to other currencies is all it takes and that is happening right now. This year it is 5% of trade. Next year 10%. Then 20%. Then 40%. Then 80%. At some point in there, the US economy will have collapsed, but international trade will go on as usual. American ‘exceptionalism’ is only in the heads of some Americans, not reality.
Makati1 on Fri, 23rd May 2014 8:06 pm
As for your “rotten at the core”, you must be blind to the US government the last few decades. The US is a banana republic in everything but name. Run by psychopaths and war monger billionaires. Nothing democratic is left in the 50 states but the name.
