How should America use its influence in a world where being a superpower doesn’t get you what it once did? As instability and human tragedy in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria have shown, the U.S. alone cannot impose solutions or force the surrender of adversaries like the Islamic State group, which cannot be deterred by the threat of nuclear attack.
___
WHERE THEY STAND
Donald Trump says his approach is defined by the phrase “America First.” He says, for example, that if allies in Europe and Asia won’t pay the full cost of U.S. contributions to their defense, then the U.S. should let them defend themselves. He is sour on “international unions that tie us up and bring America down.”
Hillary Clinton takes the view that America benefits from a wide network of alliances, both for security and for economic strength. She says she would work to widen and strengthen that network. She criticizes a “go-it-alone” approach for the U.S. and asserts that international partnerships are “a unique source of America’s strength.”
___
WHY IT MATTERS
The way America wields its power around the world affects people in every walk of life, in every corner of the country. Going to war in Afghanistan in 2001 and Iraq in 2003 profoundly changed the lives of tens of thousands of people whose loved ones were killed or grievously wounded. It also raised questions that confront Clinton and Trump: How can American influence be used most effectively to protect the homeland and prevent future wars?
In Iraq and Syria, President Barack Obama has chosen not to use the full force of the U.S. military against IS. Instead he has sent small numbers of troops to prod and coach local forces to do the main fighting, backed by U.S. airpower. He says this is more likely to create a durable success than fighting the Iraqis’ and Syrians’ wars for them. Trump says this is an abdication of a commander-in-chief’s responsibility to extinguish as quickly as possible the most immediate threat to the United States. Clinton supports the thrust of Obama’s approach to avoiding another U.S. war in the Mideast.
The Iran nuclear deal, which Trump trashes and Clinton praises, is an example of diplomacy with the potential to change the course of history, for better or worse. Critics like Trump say it opens the door for Iran to get its hands eventually on nuclear weapons, which would threaten America. Clinton says it blocks that path and provides possibilities for change in Iran that could reduce the chance of war.
At its core, the discussion about U.S. leadership gets down to this: How much can the U.S. accomplish acting alone, compared with allying itself with like-minded nations? The question applies not just on the military front but also in economics. Trump argues the U.S. gets too little out of current trade arrangements as well as decades-old security partnerships like NATO, which is anchored in Europe but traditionally led by the U.S. He has called NATO “obsolete” and a bad deal for America.
Clinton, by contrast, sees NATO and alliances with Japan and South Korea as a pillar of U.S. strategy for promoting peace and preventing war.
Trump is right when he says NATO was created to confront a threat – the Soviet Union – that no longer exists. The question is whether the alliance is capable of adapting to 21st century threats like a resurgent Russia, instability in the Middle East and the appeal of the Islamic State group. Whereas Trump suggests the U.S. can be better off going it alone, Clinton aligns herself with the more traditional notion that there is strength in numbers.

Hey oldfool, wake up. ‘NATO’ is the pentagon’s eastern division. It is a uS force that is designed to keep the EU under permanent uS occupation. It is certainly not there to ‘defend’ anything, other than its own globalist ambitions. I would have thought by now, it was apparent to anyone with an IQ over 60 that the NATO is an instrument of amerio-zionist imperial control. As far as this BS about 2% GDP? They ,the je… uS, just want the EU to take on a distinctly militaristic outlook. Tiny Denmark has sent more than its share of rabid Russo-phobes to Brussels, and ‘NATO’ HQ lately. But I have to ask, what good has ‘NATO’ done the EU lately? Besides backstopping the PNAC\CRF coup in Ukraine, threatening Russia with conventional force build ups right on its borders, and its murky involvement in the uS instigated Syrian conflict(and Afghanistan), what more would you have ‘NATO’ do? Nuke Moscow, lol? Where was ‘NATO’ when a million refugees were flooding into western, central Europe? Oh yea, they were all in afghanistan, in Syria\Turkey, Ukraine, AND the Russian border. I don’t recall NATO being mobilized to stop THAT invasion, do you?
I say call trumps bluff. Let the EU ‘pay’ for its own defence, sans NATO and its fat useless uS ‘defenders’. Only problem is, for trump, is if he actually tried to follow through and remove the uS from NATO (and Europe), he would be removed from office, with extreme prejudice if need be. And after that, there would be no more talk about the uS ‘leaving’ NATO from washingdum. You see, w/o US interference the EU and Russia would quickly form mutual defence arrangements what would exclude the uS. And that would imply closer economic integration, something NATO, and the uS, are actively hindering now.
But hey, by all means, pay 2% of GDP to keep yourself shackled and chained to the uS empire.

Ap, Cloggie cannot see the huge bulls-eye painted on his tiny country by the US. He prefers to dream up some reason why the Ps is not safe from big bad China. LOL
If he thinks China is afraid of the US, he is mistaken. I suspect that in a real war, China will first, dump all of it’s USD holdings and take down the US financial system, and then either EMP the US and/or take out the satellites that make American warfare possible. NO GPS. No guidance. No war. This is NOT the 1940s.
My crystal ball is no better than his or yours when predicting timelines, but it is a little more clear on the situation here, and I do not worry about it. Maybe he should worry about his position?

186 military bases in 142 nations, should tell anyone with a single brain cell what the U.S. position on world conquest is. Since WWII, how many bases in nations that the U.S. has engaged in combat in have been returned to their nation? Let me see, we have S. Korea, Japan, Germany, England, Turkey,Iraq, Syria and on and on we could even include African countries and S. American but the list gets too unwieldy, and in MVHO Trump is correct, cut the military spending maybe then we can afford clean water for every school.

Penury, as of 2015:
Japan – 52,000
Germany – 36,000
Italy – 12,000
UK – 9,000
S.Korea – 25,000
The US has over 800 foreign bases according to some accounts. Most of these countries are not enemies but supposed allies.
This does not count families living on base, etc. One article I read years ago stated that it costs YOU, the American taxpayer, $1,000,000.00 for each military person based overseas, per year.
The number as of 2015 was about 150,000 X $1,000,000.00 = $150,000,000,000.00. or ~$500 per every man, woman and child in the US. What could YOU do with an extra $500 every year?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parkinson%27s_disease
Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a long term disorder of the central nervous system that mainly affects the motor system.[1] The symptoms generally come on slowly over time. Early in the disease, the most obvious are shaking, rigidity, slowness of movement, and difficulty with walking.[1] Thinking and behavioral problems may also occur. Dementia becomes common in the advanced stages of the disease. Depression and anxiety are also common occurring in more than a third of people with PD.[2] Other symptoms include sensory, sleep, and emotional problems
This gives an impression of the enormous dillemma tptb are in. Where very diverse leaders like Stalin, Hitler, Saddam, Putin were/are very much “their own men”, the uniqueness of the Anglo power structure is expressed by the phenomenon of the “handler”. The US presidency is hardly more than a PR function where the president carries out the orders of the “Sanhedrin”, the lindworm hidden in the belly of the beast, unvisible for most.
The enormous value of Hillary Clinton for tptb is that she is a reliable loyal follower, just like Merkel is. They both carry out any order on behalf of tptb, even if hughly unpopular with the population, like letting in millions of hostile young military age men (“refugees”) or starting a major military conflict.
Is Parkinson bad? Roosevelt spent many years in a wheel chair, but nevertheless was able to organize, promote and win WW2. His polio handicap was carefully hidden from the public during his lifetime:
http://archive.wilsonquarterly.com/essays/fdrs-hidden-handicap
The difference betwen 33-45 is the overarching presence of not only the MSM, but worse the uncontrollable “social media” run by the Alex Jones’ of this world, hostile to tptb.
Hillary Clinton is able to function adequatly most of the time. It doesn’t really matter anymore if she would be sitting in a wheelchair. The second in German political hierarchy, Wolfgang Schauble, is sitting in a wheelchair since 1990 as a result of a shooting:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfgang_Schäuble#Assassination_attempt_and_resulting_health_issues
Now what? The real question for tptb is: can we make her win the election, what happens after that is of secondary importance, since we are doing the governing anyway. The main hurdle will be these three debates with Trump. During earlier debates, Clinton already left the stage, but that was when she was in a larger group (I believe) and the directors of the show could fous on somebody else. In a one-on-one situation this would be more problematic.
What’s the alternative? Most likely Biden, another loyal servant of the empire, more so than Sanders. Not sure if he is really ready, he will be 74 in November.
I can’t really say what will happen, won’t be surprised if the Clinton campaign announces a withdrawal soon. With the internet around public appearances will be ever more akward as everybody will focus on her performance. The central question for the campaign management will be: can be afford to simply skip rallies and debates with Trump until November and rely on the sympathy vote?

Cloggie on Wed, 14th Sep 2016 7:33 am
This is relatively good news for Trump. The only alternative Trump should fear, Bernie Sanders, is not really acceptable for tptb; he is a “leftist Trump”.
Michelle Obama is no match for Trump, who himself is not exactly the greatest intellectual light, but at least has charisma and personal gravitas as compared to school-ma’am Michelle Obama.
Biden and the invisible Veep-in-waiting Kaine are the potential replacements most at hand (with less chance than Hillary), but there is always the possibility of a huge surprise candidate, like a Hollywood star.
No idea btw if Sanders could claim the candidacy based on his considerable number of electors gathered during the primaries.
And of course there is the attack against Trump organized by the NYC DA Eric Schneiderman against Trump’s foundations:
http://www.spiegel.de/politik/ausland/donald-trump-stiftung-geraet-ins-visier-der-ermittler-a-1112199.html
Surprise, surprise, Schneiderman is Democrat:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Schneiderman
This could devolve into one huge mess with the election date of November in jeopardy and perhaps postponed.
This election is about one thing only: what is the US going to be: a self-defined European majority country (Trump) or the prototype of the NWO and a completely race-mixed country (Clinton), with Europe soon to follow, if nothing would happen there (don’t count on it).
If this would happen, European man (and the Sanhedrin) will soon be a foot note in Chinese history.

The latest news here:
“Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte said he’s considering buying weapons from Russia and China and ending joint patrols with US forces in the South China Sea. … Duterte also said the Philippines won’t participate in expeditions patrolling South China Sea to avoid being involved in a “hostile act”. “I just want to patrol our territorial waters,” he said. … The move to end joint patrols signals Duterte’s intention to improve ties with China, according to Shen Shishun, a senior researcher at the China Institute of International Studies under China’s Foreign Ministry. “The Philippines got little out of it and it offended the Chinese, with whom they could have done more business with,“ Shen said. “Duterte saw this point and made a practical decision.””

Duterte, like Australia’s most senior politician Malcolm Fraser, is betting that the South China Sea will be Chinese controlled territory soon (and I think he is right).
http://nationalinterest.org/feature/america-australias-dangerous-ally-11858
The Ps are too small to do anything about that and volunteers “anticipatory obedience” towards China.
It remains to be seen if the US would accept this change in Ps policy and neutrality. The smartest move the Ps can make is expel the American bases before the almost inevitable escalation in the SCS will take place, in order to avoid becoming embroiled in fighting on its own territory, comparable to for instance remote Norway, who in April 1940, out of the blue, saw fighting breaking out on its own territory between Germans and British-French troops, for no other reason than that Norway had reluctantly given up on neutrality by allowing the British to mine the coast of Norway with the purpose of cutting of iron ore supply to Germany from Narvik.
The Philippines army has 90,000 in active service, but probably not enough to prevent a US takeover of several islands:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armed_Forces_of_the_Philippines
One thing is certain, if things escalate in the SCS, we are going to have a forum member who seriously will need to review his personal survival strategy. And even if no military escalation will take place and the Ps volunteer to become a Chinese satellite, things will change for Americans living in the Ps.

Clog, the US is not going to invade the P’s. Nor is the US capable of it with all its other commitments. You can remove that from one of your 20th century fantasies. China is not capable of invading any country by sea except for limited tactical reasons. Invasion by land is a different story. China is quite capable of land invasions with its neighbors. Whether land invasions would be successful is another story. China does not yet have the capability to occupy a nation or will they likely ever have that capability. The global world is collapsing so such military capabilities will be out of reach soon. Clog, are you aware of the Chinese military capabilities? They can barely defend a few islands. There maritime reach is limited and their air transport very limited. Makati1 boast about the missiles they have but missiles do not occupy nations, troops with support occupy nations. How about winning the hearts and minds of the P’s population by an invasion. It should be clear to anyone who has witnessed Iraq and Afghanistan what occupying a nation consists of. The P’s is numerous islands with 100MIL population.
I don’t think you have thought through any of this beyond your fantasy ClOG NWO filter of current events. China is an export dominated globally integrated country that can’t afford a major war. A war may be short and sweet but it will end quickly. The same is true for the US. If a major war occurs game is over because of internal collapse from disrupted global trade for all major powers.
Your Malcolm Fraser is a typical politician who has no clue of realities beyond his narrow interest. It is obvious what his interest are. I hope the US withdraws from the SCS. I doubt the US will go quickly or be forced out by your fantasy Chinese dragon. The US will go eventually because its interest are not there. China will withdraw also because it is going to have an internal collapse to deal with once its vast globally dependent industrial complex is idle.

If Duterte gets rid of the American military presence as he wants to do, there would be no reason for the Chinese to invade. They already own a lot of the PS and there are over 1,300,000 Chinese living here at the present. A number of them live in my condo tower.
You should be more worried about the current invasion of Europe by the Muslim refugees. lol
Cloggie on Wed, 14th Sep 2016 8:50 am
Davy, you can’t deny that there is a tension field concerning the status of the SCS. China has constructed these artificial islands to create a pretext to expand the 200 miles zone and expel foreign navies (read: US) from its own doorstep.
The US doesn’t accept China’s “dash line”:
https://www.theguardian.com/news/2016/jul/12/south-china-sea-dispute-what-you-need-to-know-about-the-hague-court-ruling
And now what? Why could in 1942 a much smaller Japan invaded the Ps and expel the Americans, but why can’t China do that in 201x?
You are using you “collapse” mantra as an explanation and limited Chinese military capabilities but I am not convinced this will deter the Chinese if push comes to shove, who have endless commercial maritime equipment that can be used to bring large numbers of Chinese troops to the Ps.
I am not saying it is going to happen, an escalation and invasion, but something is definitely brewing.
“Your Malcolm Fraser is a typical politician who has no clue of realities beyond his narrow interest.”
What does that mean, the man is with one leg in the grave. He seems to be genuinely concerned about the future of Australia and that the alliance with the US could lead to a “Chinese future” of his country.

Ongoing global resource depletion, environmental degradation, population increase, and climate change simply aren’t on the radar of these leaders or those who would want us to believe that these planned transformations are even possible. Abundant (surplus) energy, water, food, and other resources are what make progress possible and keep the masses resilient enough to undergo positive change. Besides oil and abundant sunshine, KSA lacks most of what it takes to maintain order going forward, and will find itself in a growing global competition for real capital. Beyond oil, I don’t see that it has much to bargain with.

“You should be more worried about the current invasion of Europe by the Muslim refugees. lol”
I do indeed worry about that a lot… fuming anger is a more appropriate word.
Over the last week there was considerable uproar here about a bunch of Muslims misbehaving in the city of Zaandam, humiliating police, dancing on police cars, etc. Every talkshow had an item on that.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tfvSlebB6o
Muslims openly declaring that “cheeseheads” should be killed. They say that on Dutch territory, 10 km North of Amsterdam. Muslims have nothing but contempt for European “human rights pussies” and are simply waiting for the moment they can take over.
Ah well, a world famous Austrian politician once said that every generation needs a war of its own to avoid becoming weak and corrupt. That maybe a little too robust but here is certainly a mega-conflict brewing nobody can escape.
Europeans and Muslims can’t live peacefully together other than in a situation of clearly defined hierarchy. So far in history, 4 major battles between European Christians and Muslims have taken place over the last 13 centuries. The fifth and biggest one is now underway. Expect a body count of hundreds of thousands, the brunt of which will be in France. Like during the Siege of Vienna (Polish king Sobieski), decisive could be again Eastern Europeans, especially really hard right Ukrainians (thanks Nuland for this gift.lol!)

One option is that, like in the USSR with Gotbatchev, the imperialist itself has enough and begins to understand that the best years of the Empire are over.
Another is that someone stands-up who doesn’t like it either that the European character of the US is being destroyed and somehow manages to hijack the system from within, because he has money of his own.
Both these motives seems to be present in Trump. Of course you can say that he will be sabotaged by tptb. And yes these attempts could happen. However, if Trump managed to snatch the presidency away from tptb, it could imply that he is able to do more, like Putin did in Russia who managed to kick these circumcized oligarchs out and gradually drew all the power to himself, with the Russian public loving it until today.
First of all this wall: that’s going to happen. Sabotage is futile. Deportation of illegals as well. Next he is going to make a big show of buddying up with Putin and lift sanctions regime. He is going to make fun of Merkel and not paying her respect. And he is going to force the Europeans to organize an army of their own.
That’s why I say “we”. The independence of Eastern Europe was initiated by the presidency of Gobatchev. The same is going to happen to Western Europe… with consent of Trump. We are going to have a nice rightwing revolution in Western Europe and clean the shop out and remove traitors like you from high office and the media and multiculturalism is going to be considered a dirty word. Asylum for third worlders is going to be abolished and these floating Muslims and Negros from Africa will be unceremoniously kicked back to their sorry countries and their rickety boats smashed.

The absurdity of being a member of the US empire means enforced racial equality. The Dutch police was under heavy criticism lately because they were accused of applying ethnic profiling. This means that young colored guys in >$100k cars were often stopped and searched for drugs and weapons.
The real reason of course for this behavior was that the police knows exactly who the folks are where you have the best chance of scoring a hit, but the lefties in office and Washington c*** suckers informed us that this behavior can’t be tolerated and that we are all equal.
Consequence: anti-terror squads are now forced to search ordinary cloggies near Schiphol airport, who are not known to ever have committed a terrorist act:
https://mobile.twitter.com/HaraldDoornbos/status/759502049658699776/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw
Between Dutch independence in 1648 and 1980 when the US-imposed multicultural deaster began (after it began in the US in 1965), I can’t remember a single act of Nice- or Paris-style religeous motivated terrorism carried out by an ethnic Dutch. And yet these people need to be treated as if they could any moment.

clooged you sure are a babbling and all over the place. One too many Red bulls?
Muslims in Canada about 3.2%
Canada/Area – 9.985 million km²
According to Statistics Netherlands (CBS), a Dutch governmental institution, about 5% of the total Dutch population are Muslims (24 October 2007).
Probably a lot more now eh? More coming too. Waves and waves of em. Few thousand a day making it to European shores. The Atlantic is much rougher and much much wider than the Med.
Netherlands/Area – 41,543 km²
Looks a little crowded. You can fit 240 little tiny Netherlands into 1 big Canada.
Amsterdam 24% Muslim – ouch!
Netherlands: Muslims film themselves terrorizing community, brag about lack of police response

Canada is still 80% white so if the major shit hits they’ll do what they did (internment) or worse to the Japanese who lived here in WWII including the ones born here – and they weren’t even causing any problems, the natural tribalism just kicked in like it always do for non pussies. Thought they were a threat in troubled times so they did something about it, unlike you Dutch who laid down for the Nazis and let them fuck all your women and take all the food until Canada came along and saved your pussy asses and fed y’all. I wonder what it was like for the Dutch men after the war when they starting dating, wondering if they were getting Nazi sloppy seconds, but never knowing.
It’s cultural alright. Lets just compare a uniquely Dutch cultural invention with a uniquely Canadian cultural invention, shall we?

(We don’t have these displays of collective Muslim power just yet in Amsterdam)
“Looks a little crowded. You can fit 240 little tiny Netherlands into 1 big Canada.”
Yep, and you want to count that as a Canadian merit? Agricultural export pecking order (2008):
1. USA $118B
2. Holland $79B
..
8. Canada $37B
See, we don’t need much square miles to kick ass, let alone to survive.
“Canada is still 80% white so if the major shit hits they’ll do what they did (internment) or worse to the Japanese who lived here in WWII including the ones born here – and they weren’t even causing any problems, the natural tribalism just kicked in like it always do for non pussies.”

(Canadians with an attitude don’t have any trouble to identify themselves with a European resistance movement and call themselves Europeans because they are Europeans. As always, Europe is first)
And just because you can dig up a video with mindless hockey players beating the shit out of each other (Rio2016: Holland ranking 11, Canada 20) isn’t really proof that Canadians are all that combative when it is about real resistance:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wd1IU_6rXNk
Canadian children singing a Jihadist welcome song to Syrian “welfare tourists”. Got approval of the Canadian PM, which went viral. Canadians are one of the most political correct people in the world, even more so than Americans.
The way thinks look in Vancouver is that you are going to be put in a Chinese internment camp, just like makati will in the Ps, if the geopolitical shtf.
Look, I am not going to be persuaded to enter in a Dutch-Canadian pissing contest. Of all the countries in the world, Canada has always been the #1 destination for Dutch Nazis and other good people who couldn’t make in the Netherlands after 1945 and were on the lookout for a second fatherland. Canada is a wonderful country, rotten commie apples like you not withstanding.

Holland-Canada: the least problematic diplomatic relationship in the world.
Canada will personally always have a special place for me; the first woman in my life who I asked to marry was Canadian, but it didn’t work out because of all sorts of limitations and complications (money, distance & her catholic parents). The dream ended when a improvised job interview with a Canadian entrepreneur in the 20th floor of a huge hotel in Hamburg, where a World Solar Energy Conference was being held where I presented my university work, in the end didn’t lead to a job in Kingston, “near” Montreal.
At the time I was even more pro-American than Davy is today, love blinds.lol

I am ashamed and upset with my country at all levels but it is my country and I live here. I am a stake holder. Generalizing your criticism to everywhere in America is bullshit. You can’t know every local and you can’t lump all Americans together. I would say also many of our poor and stupid are not hurting anyone. They are little different from what is going on in the rest of the world. You can criticize the leadership of a decaying empire. I have no problem with that and participate with that. America deserves the lion share of the criticism of the evils of globalism and the unipolar world of an out of control American empire. That empire is no longer I might add. It is in visible decline and will be gone soon. 2003 was the high point of the insanity. We deserve criticism for those sins. We also deserve time to unravel it. It is not all our making too. There has been plenty of hijacking from outside the US from the wealthy of the world.
I am an isolationist because that is what doom and prep is. Doom and prep is about collapsing in place and downsizing with dignity. America needs to do this on the world stage. We need to fall back to multinational arrangements. We need to withdraw the military back home. This can’t happen overnight but the process should begin. This is not only to save resources it is also to reset our relationship with the world.
I am upset and ashamed with my culture but that culture is not everyone. Every asshole anti-American on this board has the same cancer in their country to varying degree. I have been to many of these countries and know firsthand what is going on. I do not believe in the American dream. The reality of it is a nightmare. The talk of all the poverty in America is exaggerated for extremist reasons. If you are an extremist you see extremes. You can google your penis all day long but don’t tell me you know America from behind a CRT. I love my country and if you don’t there is something wrong with you. Yet, I am told to hate myself by many here. I am told my family is bad. I am told where I live is horrible. Who the fuck are you anti-Americans to tell me about me?
This board is a cesspool of hate. It is a blame and complain circle jerk society of people who dedicate their life to the hate of something. The best scapegoat is Merica. When I get multiple comments on how stupid, fat, lazy, ugly, and evil I am I start to feel like I hope America destroys your fucking home all of you. I hope you anti-American’s last fucking breath is from the winds of some American evil. How the fuck is that Anti-Americans? You see what it feels like for people to hate you. How is it when the boot is in your ass, pussies? I hate you and we can deliver. We are not pussies like you limp dicks. How’s that feel? Fuck all of you. See dickheads how it feels. That is what many of you send my way daily.

Der Spiegel, like all the other major German media outlets, are under US control. The relationship is defined in the socalled “geheimer Staatsvertrag”:
http://www.infiniteunknown.net/tag/geheimer-staatsvertrag/
Everything der Spiegel c.s. writes never goes against the interest of Washington. Germany is a colony of the US plain and simple.
Against this light the howling against Phulippines president Duterte can be understood:
http://www.spiegel.de/politik/ausland/philippinen-unter-rodrigo-duterte-aerger-mit-dem-ruepel-in-manila-a-1112454.html
(“Trouble with the bully in Manilla”)
The empire has noticed that Duterte is making loud noises (“Obama = son of a whore”) indicating that he is preparing to leave the empire and defect to China. Der Spiegel correctly says that Washington needs the Ps as a bullwark against China.
Der Spiegel claims that it is not even possible for Duterte to trade in the US for China as a new overlord, um… alliance partner. One of the reasons stated is that China is not very popular with the Ps population (perhaps makati can elaborate on that). The Ps opposition suppports the verdicht of The Hague concerning these islands in the South China Sea.
Final conclusion article: Duterte can shout all he wants but for him there is no alternative for the US.

More on Duterte, in office since June 30:
Duterte instructs minister to buy light weapons from China & Russia, halts patrolling with US navy in SCS and wants the US to dismantle the Mindanao base:
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-09-14/duterte-turns-back-us-orders-philippines-buy-weapons-russia-and-china
Since he came in office, “the punisher” killed 3000 people in his war on drugs (that’s Pearl Harbor/9-11). Duterte denies he wants to cancel the alliance with the US but wants to persue a neutral foreign policy. He doesn’t want jets like F16, because the Ps don’t intend to fight anyone, but prefers propeller planes.
Interpretation: the Ps is playing out the US vs China and is refusing a role as unmovable US aircraft carrier in a potential conflict with US-China.
China of course loves the development and “hopes that normal relations can be restored soon”:
http://www.businessinsider.com/r-chinas-li-tells-duterte-he-hopes-ties-can-get-back-on-normal-track-2016-9?IR=T
Expect that a Chinese-Ps deal is in the cards about distribution of SCS resources under Chinese souvereignty.
http://www.philstar.com/headlines/2016/09/16/1624399/yasay-philippines-not-ready-bilateral-talks-china
Ps defense minister denies in the US that bilateral talks with China are immanent nor a distancing from the The Hague verdict. Wants just better relations with China. Denies that the Ps will ever fight China, because “no match”.
http://www.philstar.com/headlines/2016/09/16/1624399/yasay-philippines-not-ready-bilateral-talks-china
Duterte’s war on drugs is popular with the Ps population. US military presence is not. 19 minute video with Duterte explaining himself completely in not very diplomatic language. It is clear that he doesn’t want to become embroiled in a US-Chinese conflict. His behavior is entirely rational.
Davy on Fri, 16th Sep 2016 4:24 am
Clog, the people of the P’s are likely not going to trade the Chinese for the Americans. They are a proud people who are angry about their past exploitations. They have no interest in China stepping into their sovereign influence. Duterte is new to the scene. He is not a dictator he does not own the P’s. His popularity could easily be trounced. There is the P’s military that has significant sway over what happens in the P’s. The P’s wants respect not more of the same great powers stepping on their sovereignty.
China is in an expansionist mood and the nations of the South China Sea had enough of that in the 20th century. China has no chance in hell of invading any of these nations and holding any territory for long if at all. Amphibious invasions are the trickiest. It would be militarily stretching their capabilities to begin with. They would destroy their international credentials and disrupt the global system of which they are a major part of through export side of the global equation. Anyone who has seen the difficulty the Americans had in Afghanistan and Iraq holding territory and winning hearts and minds should realize this kind of military action is folly. This is not the 20th century anymore. You have nations to run and many more people to deal with when you invade. We have increased our ability to kill but not conquer. We are interconnected and overpopulated and these situations change the whole dynamics to military actions.

Last chance for “les Deplorables”.
Old conservative war horse Pat Buchanan:
http://www.unz.com/pbuchanan/last-chance-for-the-deplorables/
There are several here who think that even Trump is political BAU and that once in office he will dance to the tune of tptb.
News flash: he isn’t. Best way to know that is the panic behavior of MSM and establishment, even most GOP big whigs.
Listen to recent statements by Trump:
For the last chance to restore America, as Trump himself told Christian Broadcasting’s “Brody File” on Friday, Sept. 9, is slipping away:
“I think this will be the last election if I don’t win … because you’re going to have people flowing across the border, you’re going to have illegal immigrants coming in and they’re going to be legalized and they’re going to be able to vote, and once that all happens, you can forget it.”
Politically and demographically, America is at a tipping point
There you have it: the Sanhedrin wants to push America beyond the tipping point, meaning white America at the mercy of non-whites…
http://www.renegadetribune.com/new-york-times-paul-krugman-gloats-demise-white-america/
…Trump (like earlier Buchanan) wants to prevent that.
This 2016 election is the first meaningful election since 1960, when another outsider (backed and steered by his father Joseph) tried to destroy the US power structure, in place since the beginning of the 20th century. Tptb stopped JFK the hard way and there is not a snowball’s chance in hell that tptb aren’t at least going to try to stop Trump if he would happen to make it to the White House.
Putin got rid of them by kicking the oligarch top brass out of the country. He could do that because the Russian version of the Sanhedrin infiltration was in 2000 far more shallow than the one in place in the US (thanks to the good work of Stalin after 1938 and Chrustchov after 1953).
Trump is indeed facing a daunting task in saving European-America from going under and in fact there is no Putin-like solution for America. And the Hitler Final Solution… well…
No. There is only one realistic way out for America and that is splitting the country up and that is what eventually will happen. For Buchanan that is also a very realistic scenario to happen between now and 2025…
https://www.amazon.com/Suicide-Superpower-Will-America-Survive-ebook/dp/B004YD36HS/ref=sr_1_1
Nevertheless, a Trump presidency would be a welcome intermediary step because it could initiate the formation of a desirable geopolitical vehicle of the future and guarantor of white survival in a darkening world of the 21st century. For that vision to become realized, namely a global commonwealth of European nations, it is essential that Europe rearms and prepares itself 1) for a 1492-style reconquista on European soil and 2) intervention on North-American soil on the side of “Mid-West” / constitutionalists / Alex Jones types and carve out a “Amerikaner” nation, militarily guaranteed by Paris-Berlin-Moscow.
The signs are that the EU is now getting serious with setting up an army of its own:
http://www.breitbart.com/london/2016/06/27/foreign-chief-europe-needs-eu-army/
Until now such a move was always blocked by the British, the Washington’s Trojan horse in Europe. That is why it is so important that the Brexit will be if necessary enforced on Britain so we get can get rid of them as soon as possible.
Here the classical British attitude that sees Europe as a threat, expressed one week before the Brexit:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/06/14/an-eu-army-is-not-just-a-stupid-idea–its-a-grave-threat-to-our/
(British are the quintessential anti-Europeans and completely hopeless; in America in contrast, there are still a lot of people not hostile to the “mother civilization”).
