Saudi oil pipeline briefly set alight after shots fired at patrol
A “limited fire” broke out on a subsidiary oil pipeline in eastern Saudi Arabia on Saturday after assailants fired shots at a security patrol, the state news agency SPA said.
SPA, citing the spokesman for police in Eastern Province, said authorities were at the scene quickly and had put out the fire. It said the incident happened at 2:00 a.m. local time on Saturday

Fundamentals…..Cover women up, don’t let them vote or drive or go to school. Don’t let them see a doctor and mutilate their genitals to remove any sense of sexual pleasure. Paulo/Planter, I am drawn back to my image of Patton’s toast with the Russian general in the Movie Patton. Here is a summary:

We’d be far better of not bombing them and equally important not importing them wholesale to Europe, Americas, Australia etc. I don’t give a shit what they are doing in SA, but I give a shit if they try to force their BS onto a nation that is stupid enough to let them migrate to.

We need to transition to solar power ASAP. Then all the desert fanatics will go back to where they came from. There is no other solution that can work. The next time you buy a car ask yourself: Do I need an SUV? V8? How about a V6? 4 cyl? Maybe get an electric car? Electric bike? Move down the scale and you will have accomplished something real.

Bob, your thoughts are admirable and I support them whole heartedly. Bob, you should consider the “no time no money” predicament we are near or already in. This is an energy trap related to food and liquid fuels. A trap may have a way out but it generally means doom. A coyote will chew his leg off to get out of a trap. This is why traps must be checked routinely. How can we chew our foot off to get out of this trap? The only possibility is crisis. This crisis must shake the system to the foundation. There must be no turning back. This type of crisis may not have a solution. It may not be survivable. It is our only choice to change the attitudes and lifestyles that have no future.
