ALL ‘reserves’ are over stated. ALL of them. We are much closer to the edge than we think. The slope down is becoming a cliff. Are you prepared?

Every time oil prices spike a recession follows. The world is in for a tough time.
Are individuals, businesses and politicians preparing their companies and the public for higher energy prices and limited supplies? As people we tend not to react until we are forced to. That time may be coming.

Cabra, but, doesn’t the last year only prove that they cannot lower prices anymore with extra production? Are prices lower now than a year ago? Nope!

Rehashing year-old news is surely meant only to fool people into glancing at the date and thinking it’s new. This sort of thing doesn’t belong on a ‘Peak Oil NEWS’ site.
Nonsense like this gets in the way of real news. It’s not as if it’s a slow news day – there are plenty of PO-related stories out there.

I can’t wait for the Cornicopians to dismiss this story and claim that all of the “Vast, enormous, huge, gigantic, (etc)” finds of the past year or so will make up for all of Saudi Arabia’s oil.
Meanwhile, those in the know are continuing their preps.
