ANOTHER volcanic eruption. The signs of global seismic unrest are showing everywhere.
Now (May 12th into 13th 2015) A sudden large blast caught nearby hikers on Nicaragua’s Telica volcano off guard.
The eruption started as a relatively small blast (caught on camera nearby the caldera)… the smaller blast gave way to a longer lasting much larger eruption.

Glessberg and Suess/de Vries cycle convergence: mid-latitude cooling for at least the next 20-30 years.

GregT: VERY funny indeed!

I’ve always thought volcanic activity would be the mechanism that would reverse global warming. As the earth heats up, it obviously expands, making seismic activity more likely. Charts of global temperature and volcanic activity over the last 4,500 years confirm this:

Earth is in a cooling phase, shrinks a bit, squeezes out some liquid from subduction zones. No big deal and perfectly normal. Balance between the sun’s activity and Earth’s activity with no anthropogenic effect required.
GregT on Thu, 14th May 2015 9:00 am
We should all be very thankful that the Earth is in a natural cooling cycle, otherwise the effects of AGW would be far worse than they already are.

Are you blaming earthquakes on global warming??

Off topic, but if you want to see an article with photos of people starving on a boat abandoned by the human traffickers because Malaysia refused the boat, click on the link below. Things are getting desperate in many parts of the world.

The Boat Of Starving Rohingya Refugees That No Country Will Take In
The emaciated faces of hundreds of refugees found adrift in Thai waters on Thursday spoke volumes about the scale of the humanitarian crisis unfolding in South Asia.
Reporters on Thursday found about 400 refugees from Myanmar’s Muslim Rohingya minority crammed aboard a wooden fishing boat in the Andaman Sea, desperate for food and water.
The refugees said they had been at sea for almost three months and had fled persecution in their home country. They had hoped to reach Malaysia but were turned away by Malay authorities. Six days ago, smugglers abandoned their ship, and ten people had already perished onboard, refugees said.
Christophe Archambault, a photographer for Agence France Presse, captured the harrowing scenes onboard the ship, and the desperate scramble for supplies that were eventually dropped by the Thai military.

Perk, this is the end of the beginning of the global descent. These scenes are going to be so numerous that the corny MSM will find it difficult to report then jump to some stupid ass CNN show on a missing baby or maybe Oprah relating how she had same sex sex when she was 12.
We are so far up our own asses it makes me sick. What is the value of a human life anymore? We would all get better off going local. We can’t because the news is so exciting. I am included in the dumb asses.

Climate change will shake the Earth
A changing climate isn’t just about floods, droughts and heatwaves. It brings erupting volcanoes and catastrophic earthquakes too

“More Fatal Earthquakes to Come, Geologists Warn”
“The untold – and terrifying – story behind the earthquake that devastated Nepal last Saturday morning begins with something that sounds quite benign. It’s the ebb and flow of rainwater in the great river deltas of India and Bangladesh, and the pressure that puts on the grinding plates that make up the surface of the planet.
Recently discovered, that causal factor is seen by a growing body of scientists as further proof that climate change can affect the underlying structure of the Earth.
Because of this understanding, a series of life-threatening “extreme geological events” – earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis – is predicted by a group of eminent geologists and geophysicists including University College London’s Bill McGuire, professor emeritus of Geophysical and Climate Hazards.”

This is one of the most active areas in the world. Its no big thing to see volcanoes erupting in this area. Ive been on several active volcano climbs in guatimala and Nicaragua and have seen volcano’s erupt several times a day( google volcan fuego) . At the pacaya volcano in guatamala you can actually walk right up to the lava flows( good idea to go with a guide)
JuanP on Thu, 14th May 2015 3:52 pm
Moo, If you are going to claim to have been several times to GUATEMALA, you should at least learn how to spell the country’s name the right way! LOL

I agree. Will try again. Don’t mock me please. I resisted for months.
Even met a cool lady on the plane coming back from the site today (home for a weekend). Got her name and all, but didn’t quite progress it to a pickup. She seemed pretty open. I just needed to do a bit more.
GregT on Thu, 14th May 2015 5:02 pm
Not mocking you at all Nony. Mental health issues are no laughing matter, and are common throughout all walks of life. Much more so amongst people with higher than average levels of intelligence.
Honestly dude, if you are having some troubles already, this is not the place that you want to be spending so much of your time on.

Did I actually read that he size of the earth is changing due to the roughly one degree atmospheric temperature increase?
One would think it would take more than a couple of years for that to affect the interior.
The water theory, maybe.
