Let’s talk about Yellowstone first. In recent months, the big geysers have been behaving very strangely and this is something that my wife and I covered on our television show. And now, just over the past week there have been three very significant earthquakes in the region. On June 9th, there was a magnitude 3.7 earthquake, on June 13th there was a magnitude 4.3 earthquake and earlier today there was a magnitude 4.0 earthquake. Yes, the area around Yellowstone is hit by earthquakes all the time, but most of them are extremely small. For earthquakes of this size to be striking right around Yellowstone is highly unusual and more than just a little bit alarming.
The map below comes directly from the USGS, and it shows all of the earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 or greater that have hit the western portion of the United States over the last week. The three big earthquakes that struck southwestern Montana are visible on the map, although they are hard to see because the dots all overlap. But the main reason why I am showing you this map is because I want you to see all of the earthquakes that have been happening along the major fault lines in southern California in recent days…
The biggest was a magnitude 5.2 earthquake that hit an area northeast of San Diego on Friday. The following comes from NBC Los Angeles…
A magnitude-5.2 earthquake centered in the desert northeast of San Diego caused shaking early Friday morning across Southern California.
The earthquake occurred at about 1 a.m. northwest of Borrego Springs in San Diego County, according to the USGS. The earthquake was initially reported with a magnitude of 5.1 before it was revised to 5.2, according to the USGS.
But that earthquake was not the end of it by any means. It is being reported that this large quake was followed by at least 800 aftershocks.
Yes, we normally expect there to be aftershocks after a large quake, but to have that many is very, very unusual.
The quakes that have been striking farther north off the coast of northern California and Oregon are also of great concern as well. Just recently, I wrote about the fact that the federal government has been conducting drills that have attempted to simulate the response to a magnitude 9.0 Cascadia Subduction Zone earthquake. If such an earthquake were to strike at this moment, the damage caused would be incalculable.
And the USGS has confirmed that such an earthquake is very possible and that it “would likely trigger huge tsunami waves”…
The USGS has worryingly confirmed the same computer models show it is capable of producing an earthquake with a magnitude up to 9.3, which would likely trigger huge tsunami waves.
This would be more powerful than the magnitude 9 tsunami-causing quake that hit Japan in 2011, claiming thousands of lives and taking out nuclear reactors.
Worse still, many scientists say the US is not yet prepared to deal with such a natural disaster, and it could strike at an time.
Scientists tell us that we are actually way overdue for such a quake and accompanying tsunami, and when it comes large numbers of Americans that are clustered right along the coastline will die.
Why all of this is of greater concern now is due to the fact that many areas along the “Ring of Fire” that roughly encircles the Pacific Ocean are roaring to life right now.
For example, just today the biggest volcano in Eurasia sent hot ash more than 3 miles into the air…
Eurasia’s largest volcano Klyuchevskaya Sopka in Russia’s Far East erupted shooting hot ash miles into the air on Tuesday, the local geophysical service said.
“The eruption was detected [Tuesday] morning…the eruption column rose 6 kilometers [3.7 miles]. The steam-gas plume stretched for 47 kilometers to the west of the volcano,” a representative of the Russian agency told RIA Novosti.
And down in New Zealand, there is evidence that a brand new major volcano may be in the process of forming under a small town…
Beneath Matata, a small coastal town 125 miles from Auckland, on New Zealand’s North Island, scientists recently discovered a massive magma build-up, possibly signaling the beginnings of a new volcano.
But oddly, this magma chamber is nowhere near an active volcano.
According to geophysicist Ian Hamling, since 1950 an incredible influx of magma – enough to fill 80,000 Olympic-sized swimming pools – has accumulated beneath the small New Zealand town, pushing up the surface of the ground by 40 cm (16 inches).
In my new book entitled “The Rapture Verdict” I talk about how Jesus prophesied that we would see a great increase in seismic activity in the last days, and that is precisely what is taking place.
The crust of our planet is becoming increasingly unstable, and we have seen a series of very disturbing earthquakes and volcanic eruptions so far in 2016.
Here in the United States, in recent weeks we have seen very large earthquake swarms develop under Mt. Hood, Mt Rainier and Mt. Saint Helens simultaneously. Perhaps you don’t think that this is significant, but many of the experts sure do.
At some point there will be major volcanic eruptions along the west coast.
At some point there will be major earthquakes along the west coast.
Scientists tell us that it is just a matter of time before we see these things.
Unfortunately for all of us, these things may start happening with a frequency and an intensity that none of us are expecting.

makati1 on Wed, 15th Jun 2016 9:11 am
Denial is not recognized by “Mother Nature”. The major faults on the West Coast are way overdue to let go. Yellowstone is millenia past it’s average super eruption event. Even the New Madrid Fault in the center of America is over due. Something is going to happen and the US as a nation will not likely survive.
The whole Ring of Fire is shakin’ and bakin’ due to geological changes caused by climate change. lol

Someday there will be a major earthquake, someday the volcanoes will erupt disastrously one day all life on this planet will end. So What? Live life as if tomorrow is the last day you will ever have because it may be. But I thying there have been several millions of people who have made predictions on the end of the world but my favorite is still “this is how the world ends, Not with a bang but a whimper.”

Sadly rapture wont happen for you guys. The world will end for us all. Probobly sooner rather than later. With MANMADE GW and global aging population, falling demand and tightening resources, the pressure for a global war or some other event only increases. With poor countries creating masses of humans for which there are no jobs in the West, then poverty will grow as will violence. We know their names Pestilence, War, Famine, Death. Its no secret that as human arrogance and pride grows in the oil age so our fall will be as great. Our sins cause this. People dont even know what sin is anymore, we live in an anything goes, pleasure driven 24hr society. Anyone who thinks they are going to get a free pass on the day of judgment is committing the sin of pride. Nowhere in the book of Revelations does God say to any nation ‘its ok you guys are good’. Even to the faithfull God has issue, because God sees beyond the outer body, all the charity and chastity etc is useless if you only try to buy favour, God doesnt want that. So Rapturites, consider that however much you proclaim God and abstain, remember that you must pay for everytime you looked at a sinner and considered HIS place in hell as a benefit to yourself, that smuggness and pride has a cost too.

Selling a book. In the Amazon description “If you want to be on the cutting edge of what God is doing in these last days”. My friend please don’t tell God what to do. Not until the last 10-20 years has man been able to know about natural events all over the planet at almost real time, even very remote places.

IMHO the “Rapture Verdict” is “in”. Real dangers in the world used to sell religious prophecy to personally enrich authors or religious operatives to power up their personal control of a religious franchise expansion is still in vogue and still works like a champ. Predicting events beyond human coping save for the ad hoc efforts of those who survive is still quite lucrative as a business model, it offers interpretration and advance warning in return for money from people who believe that fear can be overcome with spending, especially if they are one of the “few enlightened ones with a wonderful stream of insider secrets that allow them to make smart purchases to counter cataclysmic oblivion and belong to the exclusive club of those who can utter their last words as: “I told you so!” Being mortal is a bitch, it makes you wish to be proven absolutely correct about what finally proves that one is indeed mortal when it takes place. This is called Dead Right.

This thread has me thinking of my subduction zone friends in Oregon, Val Conicash, and his lovely wife Florence (affectionally called Pyroclastic Flo). I swear by their exfoliating soap with jojoba, aloe, and volcanic ash instead of environmentally unsound plastic grit as well as their article on “How to beat the big one with a nitrous oxide equipped SUV and a Free Trade indigenous people woven Bag out Bag.” Their flat bread made with volacnic heat is very good as well, you simply knock the ash off with a couple of waps on the counter and apply your favorite preserves with your lexan spork.

Is there a supply shortage up in heaven? I thought those in heaven want for nothing? Is there a cover charge and two drink minimum as well? If you get raptured up, but forget your ID will heaven land security still let you in?

Nothing much happens around here, at least, not much that’s exciting. An occasional minor flood that takes out a few flatlanders who built too close to the creek (for the view; the old-timers knew better). Too wet for major forest fires, though that could change. We felt an earthquake once from about 90 miles away (a whopping 3.1). Every 10-15 years we get a blizzard or ice storm; no biggy for those who prepare (plenty of milk and bread, peanut butter, maybe some candles….)
Perhaps I should move…..

Why doesn’t their God smite us? There must be hundreds of Gods but they can’t all be God. Only 1 can be. But what about the possibility there are no Gods? Maybe Mankind is actually in charge of his own fate?

The Terrifying Truth About Climate Change
“An apocalyptic future is materializing that threatens human civilization and all life on the planet. The truth about climate change is more terrifying than our worst nightmares. We are teetering on the brink of a world that is the stuff of nightmares. This includes starvation, riots, disease, violence, and war.
Climate change augurs a wide range of adverse impacts. These impacts range from the seemingly innocuous, like more potent poisonous plants, to cataclysmic extreme weather events, like continent-sized superstorms. Other serious threats include widespread coastal flooding, storm-surges, heatwaves, drought, wildfires, mass migration, famine, disease, conflict, anoxia, species extinction and ultimately human extinction.”

Atheist are just as religious as those considered religious. Personally I have no clue and find reading about theology, philosophy, and spirituality fascinating. Currently I am reading “Esotericism of the Popol Vuh”. This is a fascinating study of the Quiche Maya culture and mythology. I am reading it for enjoyment not expecting to find anything of profound enlightenment like many get in the rapture of faith and belief.
The problem I have with the assholes that cut down religion constantly is they are bereft of anything themselves. They are spiritually empty and want to punish others for that emptiness. Many atheist are the worst because they usually have some other kind of God they worship they just don’t connect the dots that is what they are doing. I have little belief that the Christianity preached and teached to the average sheeple is valid. It is a tonic used to sooth them and offer hope because the nothingness of death is very scary for most. If one studies the deeper meaning to the Abrahamic religions there is much more there. The standard teachings are a social contract. Deeper meanings are part of something above man and cannot be controlled or owned by man. The eastern religions are likewise full of fascinating connections and understandings. The Native Americans had a culture of a special connection to nature that is profound. It is modern man that is the most lost and deceived and because of this deadly.
I guess you would call me one who appreciates mysticism. I appreciate the study of all faiths and spiritualism and I have no clue and don’t pretend to. For me it is enjoyment to study other faiths not a necessity. I gave up long ago being able to have anything of faith, belief, and or spirituality. If you don’t have it then it comes to visit when the time is right. In any case our biological synaptic connective tissue we call a brain just deteriorates anyway so the reality is you will never have anything solid from a biological point of view.
I have years of schooling and private study where I took the initiative to study theology, philosophy, and comparative religions. I have a large library of books on many different faiths and spiritualties. There is more to life than knowledge and science. Atheist tend to base their de facto faith on knowledge. Knowledge tells them religion is absurd. OK, fine but that is where you have to end it or these atheist are just as bad as those they criticize.
I have no problem with atheist just the asshole atheist that think they are so smart they can bash others faith. It is those who only reflect on life through knowledge and science that are themselves as poor intellectually as the sheeples of the most solid religious faith who reject any knowledge in opposition to that faith. Atheist and the faithful religious sheeple are unable to face the abyss of doubt and oblivion. Atheist always have that gnawing feeling there may be something and they are missing it. Being sure of anything of religion or not is a sure sign of someone deceived. I guess I just hate assholes and most vocal atheist are assholes that don’t respect others. BTW, I am an asshole but only because the world is full of assholes and I believe strongly in the best defense is a good offense. Being an asshole is offensive plain and simple. I will turn my cheek to friends and family but I will lay down great vengeance on those who are my enemies.
JuanP on Fri, 17th Jun 2016 9:04 am
Davy “Atheist are just as religious as those considered religious.” I kind of agree. I wouldn’t call atheists religious, but atheism is most definitely a belief system. Believing there are no gods is as illogical to me as believing there are gods. I don’t care for beliefs in general. My position is that it is impossible to prove gods exist and it is impossible to prove that gods don’t exist, too.
I prefer to completely ignore the subject since I consider any time spent on it wasted time. Denying that gods exist is as foolish as claiming they don’t.
PracticalMaina on Fri, 17th Jun 2016 9:07 am
Davy, I find science to be reassuring to me and my spirituality. Perfection and perfect symmetry occur in nature. Balance and yet entropy, everything in the universe being acted upon by some outside force, and therefor acting upon its surrounding, Fibonacci numbers and the law of thermodynamics that energy can never be created or destroyed simply change states is proof to me of a profound connection between all things around us. After all the molecules that compose the stars are inside of us.
JuanP on Fri, 17th Jun 2016 9:09 am
Davy “I will lay down great vengeance on those who are my enemies.” That is not very god fearing, Davy. Remember that “Vengeance is mine says the lord” and “You will know my name is the lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee”.
You are not god, Davy, and vengeance is not a Christian value!

Davy on Fri, 17th Jun 2016 9:13 am
I agree Juan that spending time on the subject is a waste of time if you expect to get anything out of it. For me it is a diversion from reading and studying doom or my obsession with studying and learning all the weeds, grasses, and other plants in my farm fields. For me it is like appreciating art or poetry. It is just my hardwiring I guess.

The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, after having existed in secrecy for hundreds of years, came into the mainstream just a few years ago*.
With millions, if not thousands, of devout worshipers, the Church of the FSM is widely considered a legitimate religion, even by its opponents – mostly fundamentalist Christians, who have accepted that our God has larger balls than theirs.
Some claim that the church is purely a thought experiment or satire, illustrating that Intelligent Design is not science, just a pseudoscience manufactured by Christians to push Creationism into public schools. These people are mistaken — The Church of FSM is legit, and backed by hard science. Anything that comes across as humor or satire is purely coincidental.”
