Witnesses bear testimony to climate change

A week ahead of the UN climate change conference in Montreal, Commissioner Dimas has backed a WWF campaign telling the stories of how climate change affects the daily lives and businesses of some EU citizens.

..”Snow disappearing in Scotland, fewer bees in Italy, crop losses in Spain, forests on the decline in Germany and sea levels rising off the coast of England”. These are the stories told by five “climate witnesses” that the WWF brought to Brussels on 22 November to encourage the EU to do more on cutting greenhouse gas emissions ahead of the COP-11 meeting in Montreal.
