According to traders and oil market experts, the demand will continue to grow, not at a faster pace. The demand will grow slowly but steadily.
“An average two per cent growth in world oil demand is reasonable forecast. Oil now fuels nearly 95 per cent of land, sea and air transport. It ensures efficient movement of raw materials and goods. Personal mobility is almost entirely oil-dependent. The International Energy Agency projected that that worldwide oil demand could exceed 100 million barrels a day by 2020.”
