Venezuela’s Cardon oil refinery has restored more than 90 percent of its operations after a power outage that caused a shutdown more than a week ago, a state oil company official said Tuesday.
The April 14 power outage disrupted operations at the refinery, which produces 305,000 barrels a day. But Alejandro Granado, the head of refining at Petroleos de Venezuela SA, said operations are nearly back to normal.
