SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — The Venezuelan government is considering selling its American oil-refining operations used to process Venezuelan crude for the U.S. market, according to a media report Tuesday.
According to the Times, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who has been at odds with the Bush administration and has in recent months moving toward increased petroleum alliances with China, signaled on Tuesday that his government was interested in selling its American oil-refining operations.
