US-India group to lobby for nuclear energy

To ensure a constructive outcome of the nuclear debate, the US India business council (USIBC) is in the process of retaining professional advocacy support to promote the Civilian Nuclear Agreement on Capitol Hill.

Talking to FE, USIBC president Ron Somers said, “As the outcome of the civil and nuclear debate will affect Indo-US relations, and thereby the collective interests of US companies doing business in India, USIBC’s board of directors has decided to launch a campaign to support this legislation.”
