The issue of oil reserves, crucial against possible fuel shortages during crises times like war, floods and earthquakes, will be discussed by Turkey’s Energy Ministry.
“Turkey’s oil reserves are not calculated according to EU methodology,” the European Union Progress Report released on Nov. 8 criticized.
However, as it is not clear whether oil reserves will be in the form of refined or crude oil, no regular storing can be made in Turkey, which constitutes a “great risk” according to the authorities.
