The proposed shut down of the Grangemouth oil refinery is already affecting petrol buying around Scotland.
Queues at the pumps have been reported in some areas of the country, while others are still waiting for the effects to bite.

Petrol stations across the North East of Scotland have been reporting long queues and dwindling stocks as motorists keep their tanks topped up.
A spokesman at the store said they had been struggling to keep pace with demand, and they had to take on additional security staff to control the queues at the pumps which had been blocking access to the adjacent supermarket.
Meanwhile, an Aberdeen-based industry expert has warning any long-term closure could have a serious impact on North sea oil production.
Prof Alex Kemp, who specialises in petroleum economics at the University of Aberdeen, told BBC Scotland work could have to stop if the strike was maintained.
He said it could also lead to problems for the associated gas production in the offshore fields.
… There were longer than normal queues at petrol stations in Inverness on Monday and Tuesday.
Linlithgow’s only petrol station was closed on Monday night after its pumps dried up.
Large queues were reported at stations in Livingston and Bathgate and the Shell at Cannonmills in Edinburgh closed after it supplies ran dry.
