Thai Cabinet approves energy-saving measures

Thai cabinet gave green lights to a pack of energy-saving measures in a bid to reduce financial losses in the state sector caused by rising energy costs, local media reported on Wednesday.

The package of 15 measures allow government officials of some agencies and certain responsibilities to work from home as long as their work is quantifiable and can be properly evaluated in their absence, the Bangkok Post said.
