Tajik president urges population to get prepared for power shortage

DUSHANBE (Itar-Tass) – President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon has called on the country

Dushanbe is currently in talks with Ashgabat on the supply of one billion kilowatt-hours of electric power in transit via Uzbekistan. A delegation of Tajikistani power engineers will fly to the capital of Turkmenistan on August 29 with this end in view.
