More than a billion dollars in government incentives is now available to companies creating ultra-clean fuel. Tulsa-based Syntroleum Corporation does just that. They can turn gas into liquid diesel, which is clearer and cleaner than regular diesel. Now, they want to do the same thing with coal.
The United States has a huge amount of coal reserves, about 270 billion tons.
