At the same time, the survey found growing interest in alternative fuels. About one in 10 drivers surveyed said they’d consider hybrid power when they replace their current vehicle. Three-quarters of those surveyed said manufacturers should produce more vehicles that can run on ethanol. But only about 40 percent said they’d be willing to pay more for ethanol.
What this means to you: Translation: “You’ll have to pry my cold, dead hands off the wheel of my SUV.”
