State offers $1,000 rebate to hybrid-vehicle buyers
People shopping for a new car have an additional incentive to buy a hybrid vehicle.
State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias on Sunday announced Green Rewards, a state initiative that will offer a $1,000 rebate to consumers who buy hybrid or energy-efficient automobiles.
