South Korea to Deepen Energy Ties with Two LatAm Nations

South Korea plans to expand energy-related cooperation with Venezuela and Peru to reduce the country’s vulnerability to sudden fluctuations in oil and natural mineral prices, Yonhap News Agency reported Tuesday, citing the commerce ministry.

Later this week, S Korea’s Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy will send a resources inspection team to Venezuela to discuss the establishment of a cooperative network in oil and gas exploration and development, Yonhap said.
