Solar energy is cheap, reliable and practical

After more than 20 years working in the renewable energy field, I’m used to the question I get from people all the time: “solar energy sounds like a good idea. When will we be able to use it?”

The answer is simple. It’s here today and there are literally hundreds and hundreds of applications that are cost-effective, reliable and practical just about everywhere in the United States – and applications that provide enough energy savings to pay back their cost over time.
