Shell sets the stage for exploration activities in Libya

Royal/Dutch Shell in collaboration with Libya’s national oil company has started seismic survey operations in Libya’s onshore Sirte Basin.

Four seismic crews have been contracted to conduct operations until next March. Seismic surveys will be accompanied by a large aeromagnetic operation, also planned to start this month.
